Who Is Beau Allen? 5 Things to Know About Eagles Alum

Jason and Kylie Kelce had a packed suite during Taylor Swift’s debut Miami concert in October 2024.

“It was an incredible trip,’ Jason said during an episode of his “New Heights” podcast. “Shout-out to everyone who went to the Eras Tour down in Miami, special shout-out to my friends that came along. Obviously, maybe, King Swiftie now: Beau Allen, who knows way too many Swiftie references.”

Jason and Kylie took their eldest two daughters, Wyatt and Ellie, to see Swift’s concert alongside his mother, Donna Kelce. The Kelces grooved to Swift’s sick beats alongside Allen and his sister, Grace, and his mom, Susie. (Swift, notably, has been dating Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, since summer 2023.)

During the concert, Allen captured mid-show footage including a now-viral image of Jason seemingly falling asleep while Swift sang. Jason, however, claimed on his podcast that he was “in the moment listening” to the songs.

Allen was drafted as a defensive tackle by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014 after playing football for the University of Wisconsin. After four years with the Philly team — where Allen met Jason, a now-retired center — Allen signed a three-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He later played with the New England Patriots starting in 2020.

Allen announced his NFL retirement in July 2022 after seven seasons playing pro football.

Beau Allen Had a Pivotal Role in Jason and Kylie Kelce’s Love Story

During Allen’s tenure with the Eagles, he helped Jason get home following the latter’s first date with now-wife Kylie. (Jason and Kylie’s first date took place several hours after the Eagles’ holiday party. They initially matched on Tinder.)

“[Jason] fell asleep 45 minutes after I got there on a bar table,” Kylie recalled on “New Heights” in September 2023. “Because he was too drunk and then Beau Allen accomplished the most [impressive] physical feat of his life when he fireman-carried Jason back to his apartment. … Jason fought him the whole way. Physically fought him the entire way.”

Allen enjoys Swift’s songs — and makes references via social media. While sharing the viral “nap” photo, Allen quoted her song “Anti-Hero” in his caption. Days later, Allen replied to Jason’s denial that he was sleeping mid-show.

“My boi @JasonKelce said ‘these days I haven’t been sleeping,’” Allen joked via X, referring to the lyrics in “Back to December.”

For the concert, Allen and his family matched in double denim. The retired athlete wore a vest, cutoff shorts and a tie-dyed Eras Tour shirt with a blue cowboy hat.

“Did you hear there was a new rep outfit?” he captioned an Instagram post, referring to Swift debuting a new Reputation bodysuit during the concert.

Allen is currently unattached but joined dating app Bumble in 2017.
