The Biggest Below Deck Revelations From BravoCon 2025 Panel
It’s time to drop anchors on more seasons of Below Deck and Below Deck Med.
During the yachting series’ Friday, November 14, panel at BravoCon 2025, fans learned that both shows were renewed. Below Deck is set to return for its 13th season, while the Mediterranean iteration will get cameras rolling on season 11.
Before sailing away on more hijinks on the high seas, the captains, chief stews and more crew members descended on the three-day convention in Las Vegas to deliver plenty of bombshells about what Us fans can expect.
Keep scrolling for the biggest revelations from the Below Deck panel:
Here Comes the Bride
Down Under chief stew Aesha Scott offered a glimpse of her wedding plans to fiancé Scott Dobson, revealing that she’s let her man have “as much of a chance to help,” thanks to his taste.
What It Takes to Thrive on the Water
Chief Stew Fraser Olender proclaimed that having friends is key to success “at the end of the day,” before Captain Kerry Titheradge teased how Fraser, 32, was there for him on the next season.
Let’s Hear It for Captain Sandy
Sandy Yawn, who at one point never thought she’d be on reality TV, thanked Bravo exec Jen Levy for helping her casting. Without the network VP, Sandy, 60, noted Below Deck wouldn’t have had a female captain aboard. Sandy also wants to see one more woman join the show to help “balance the franchise.”
Hannah Is Back
Hannah Ferrier will return to Below Deck — and reunite with Sandy for the first time in many years. Before stepping aboard the yacht, Hannah, 38, invited Sandy to her house for an “honest chat” without cameras, which is what they “needed” to get their bond back on track.
As for Sandy, she called their discussion a “fireside chat” that left the entire BravoCon crowd wondering what was said that made it possible for the pair to fix their friendship.
“I feel great,” Hannah added, noting that both she has been “so happy” with the progress.
Nathan Moves Up
Sandy promoted deckhand Nathan Gallagher to bosun, revealing on Friday that she “can trust him on deck.” He did, however, face an unforgiving learning curve about organization and delegating tasks that will require more lessons. Still, Sandy told the crowd she is confident that “he will learn.”
“Nathan has the sweetest face and what do you say to that?” she quipped.
Heading Down Under
The next season of Below Deck Down Under was first teased during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 6, when Captain Jason Chambers’ crew chartered a yacht for Heather Gay and her friends. Heather, 51, had even claimed that she once hooked up with Jason, 52.
According to Jason, the two Bravolebs “hung out” in Sydney, which was “fantastic,” but he stressed that they merely have “a great friendship” and nothing else has happened.
What’s to Come on ‘Down Under’
A trailer that premiered on Friday for the Australian spinoff featured Jason hiring “experienced people” like Chef Ben Robinson.
Ben, 44, initially wasn’t sure whether he was ready to sign up for another charter. Before agreeing to return, he went to lunch with Jason at Outback Steakhouse — a.k.a. “the only Aussie place he knew” — to squash any animosity. He stressed that they have gotten along “swimmingly ever since.”
Aesha, 33, also teased that she had an “interesting” relationship with Ben during the new charter, which challenged her in “every way possible.” She also revealed that the new episodes will have less “drama and toxicness” and is, instead, funny with real-life events that fans “will be touched” to see onscreen.
Welcome to the New Captain
Former deckhand João Franco was recently promoted to captain, and per a new trailer, is also accused of making out with multiple women on board. There were also sparks flying with Daisy Kelliher, who said on Friday that they are “good friends” — but hinted to fans to “wait and see” what could happen next.
Which ‘Below Deck’ Stars Sent Nathan and Gael Baby Gifts?
After Nathan and Gael Cameron welcomed their first baby in June, Sandy joked during the panel that she sent them a gift. Others, meanwhile, didn’t send any presents but have met the newborn.
As for Gael, she gushed that she is “so in love” with son Kaden and is glad that her Below Deck showmance actually worked out in the real world.
Fraser Gives a Dating Update
Fraser revealed in February 2024 that he was dating a mystery man, adding on Friday that they are “happy” together.
