The Bachelor Sneak Peek: Carolina Cries Over Grant on a Group Date

Carolina Quixano is continuing to ruffle feathers with her fellow contestants as they vie for the affections of Bachelor Grant Ellis.
In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peak of the Monday, February 24, episode, Grant, 31, and five of his remaining suitors suit up — or kilt up — for a group date in Edinburgh, Scotland.
“Another exciting day in Edinburgh, Scotland,” Grant said in a confessional. “Kilt’s everywhere and this is the last group date before hometowns. So the stakes are high.”
While some women seemed to be enjoying themselves on the date — Sarafiena Watkins gushed that she was having “the best time” — Carolina appeared to be in a different headspace.
“It’s definitely hard to see other people’s connections with Grant right in my face,” Carolina said in a confessional. “I don’t want to be asking for validation, and, ‘Please tell me that you want me here.’”
Grant appeared to sense Carolina was struggling, walking over to her as she sat alone at a table while on the group date.
“Carolina, like, could not show more disdain for being on this group date,” Dina Lupancu said in a confessional, while Grant asked Carolina, “What’s going on?”
As Carolina and Grant walked away from the group, Sarafiena told the cameras, “I’m definitely a little annoyed. To have someone that’s so negative still getting time is definitely hard.”
Zoe McGrady weighed in on the drama. “I’m not playing damsel in distress so it didn’t make sense for him to pull me aside, right?” Zoe said. “It’s the Carolina show, yet again.”
Carolina’s drama with the women came to a head on the Monday, February 17, episode of the ABC reality series when she was accused of seeming ungrateful for the one-on-one time she spent with Grant. (Carolina previously received the coveted date, while other remaining contestants had not.)
After Juliana Pasquarosa pulled her aside to talk, Carolina was in tears and seemed to receive little support from her fellow contestants. The drama was unresolved at the cocktail party, where Carolina defended having doubts in her relationship with Grant — but Dina quickly stood up for her.
“You know what, I feel for Carolina. I think she’s misunderstood in a lot of ways. But at the end of the day, I think she wants to see and does see a future with Grant,” Dina explained in a confessional, before sharing her feelings to the group. “You were one of the early one-on-ones, as was Alexe Godin. And so you want to hold on to all of the moments. You want to hold onto the conversation and the connection that you think you had and you probably did have. And then it’s, like, taken away from you. So I feel you and I see you.”
While Carolina and Dina cried and hugged it out, the tides seemed to change heading into the next week. In a teaser for the February 24 episode, Dina appeared to confront Carolina over her behavior.
“You’re like, ‘I’m taking Grant and I’m gone,’” Dina said, to which Carolina replied, “But I did not take him.”
As Carolina turned to walk away from the conversation, Dina said, “Are you gonna go talk to Grant? Because that would be crazy.” Carolina continued to walk up the stairs, holding out her hands as she said, “I guess I’m crazy and evil.”
The tensions have continued off-screen, with both women sharing TikToks back-and-forth with Dina claiming she got “played” — and Carolina hinting that she has proof of what happened between them.
“Seeing someone use this sound as if I don’t have screenshots of our conversation as evidence,” Carolina wrote alongside a clip of herself lip-syncing to an audio that said, “Because you know in a moment, it could all ‘boom.’”
Dina seemingly reacted to Carolina’s claims in a TikTok video of her own on Wednesday, February 19. “I tease next week’s preview and she responds with … a threat?” she captioned a video of herself blow-drying her hair. “Interesting tactic but on brand I guess.”
The Bachelor airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
