Teen Mom’s Maci Bookout Celebrates Son Bentley’s 16th Birthday

Teen Mom’s Maci Bookout is celebrating a major birthday milestone for her son, Bentley.

“Today you are 16 🥹 Happy Birthday to my boy @bentleycedwards 🎉1️⃣6️⃣🎉,” Bookout, 33, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, October 27. “You are an incredible young man, thanking God for picking me to be your Mom. I love you Bentley. Happy freakin’ Birthday!! ❤️🥳.”

In her post, the former 16 and Pregnant star shared a glimpse into her son’s birthday party that took place at WindStone Golf Club in Georgia earlier this month.

Guests — including Bentley’s dad, Ryan Edwards, and pregnant girlfriend Amanda Conner — were able to enjoy Glow Vibe Golf, photo booths and desserts from Shannon Anderson‘s Chatta-Cakes Bakery.

“Shoutout to childhood friends who become lifelong friends! Benny is so blessed to have you in his life. 💯,” Bookout wrote after the celebration. “Thank you to everyone who made this birthday party the BEST ever for a kid who truly deserves it! I couldn’t have done it without y’all. ❤️💪🏻.”

Fans met Bookout in 2009 when she appeared on the first season of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant. After giving birth to her son, the reality star continued to document the highs and lows of motherhood and coparenting with Edwards, 36, on Teen Mom.

This summer, Bookout — who is now married to Taylor McKinney — appeared on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter and documented Bentley learning how to drive a car.

When not balancing school work, wrestling, baseball and getting behind the wheel, the high school student was making his mom proud.

“It’s just his ability to show up for other people and be there for other people,” Bookout exclusively told Us Weekly in April when praising her son. “He’s the same ole Bentley, just maybe a little taller and maybe a little deeper voice.”

While MTV has yet to announce more seasons of Teen Mom, Bookout has made it clear that Bentley is surrounded by love as he continues to grow his relationship with Edwards.

“I feel like him and Bentley are in a really good place,” Bookout shared with Us in April. “I’m still very, very hopeful every day. But I will also say that over the last year, I think expectations have changed a little bit too.”
