Sofia Richie Grainge’s New Kids Collection Is Inspired by Her Style Musts

Sofia Richie Grainge makes dressing the part of a cool mom look like child’s play. So it’s only natural that her new Amazon Essentials baby and kids line has pieces inspired by her mom-off-duty personal style.

A poster girl for the quiet luxury trend, Richie Grainge, 26, has curated her Instagram with snaps showing her off-duty aesthetic, which centers around relaxed staples that are so right now. Many can also be found among her 35-piece Amazon collection for kiddos, from coquette-core knits to old-money faux fur coats and athleisure in earth tones and pastels.

“I’m obsessed with this butter yellow jacket,” she said in a video for the collection. “It’s a classic timeless piece.”

She continued: “As a new mom myself, I knew what was important to me. It was comfort, fabric, [and] attention to tiny details.”

For her part, Richie Grainge nailed all three elements while at the launch event, which was held on Tuesday, December 3, at the Hotel Bel Air. She wore festive red tailoring to host guests Elsa Hosk, Ashley Tisdale and more from her celebrity mom circle. The lady of the hour was also joined by her husband Elliot Grange with whom she shares a five-month-old baby girl, Eloise.

Her suit featured a collarless jacket that buttoned up the front, just like one of the many cardigans in the collection. Richie Grainge strategically left a few buttons undone to reveal a hint of exposed midriff, which kept the suiting from feeling stuffy.

Richie Grainge’s accessories were just as considered and included a quilted Chanel minibag, which was decidedly more compact than her Bottega Veneta tote which could also double as a diaper bag. She smartly matched her red patent-leather wedges to her ensemble, which added a sleek, sophisticated finish.

As they say, “Mother knows best,” and that’s certainly true for Richie Grainge.
