Social Media Influencer Pyari Maryam Dies During Childbirth

Social media influencer Pyari Maryam has died after giving birth to twin boys.

Her husband, Ahsan Ali, shared news of her death via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, December 4.

“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. Dear Maryam has passed away,” he wrote in a statement that was translated to English.

He added, “Everyone is requested to pray that may Allah, the Lord of Honor, forgive her and elevate her ranks.”

Ali added crying face emojis to the statement as he shared his devastation over the loss.

Below the statement confirming Maryam’s death were two images of her. One photo featured Maryam smiling, while another photo showed Maryam in a hospital bed.

Ali confirmed that the twin babies are healthy following the birth despite their mother’s death.

“Alhamudlillah, both little babies are completely safe,” he confirmed via a statement that was translated to English, adding, “Please avoid spreading false rumors, and pray for our dear Maryam.”

Prior to her death, Maryam detailed her personal life on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. One video uploaded via YouTube in November was titled, “Need Prayers For All🤲 || Baby Coming🥰.”

Maryam’s death comes several months after another influencer, Stacey Warnecke (née Hatfield), died following a home birth.

The Australian wellness influencer died following a complication suffered after giving birth at home. She was 30.

Sharing an emotional tribute via Instagram in October, the Melbourne-based influencer’s husband, Nathan Warnecke, honored his “soul mate and best friend.”

Nathan shared that Stacey gave birth to the couple’s first baby, son Axel, at home prior to her death on September 29.

“Tragically, shortly after, an unforeseen and extremely rare complication arose and she passed after being transferred to hospital,” Nathan wrote at the time. “Hospital staff were amazing and did the utmost to help, but ultimately nothing could be done despite their best efforts.”

Earlier this year, another influencer, Hailey Okula, died shortly after giving birth to her first baby.

Hailey’s husband, Matthew Okula, shared news of the tragic loss via an Instagram post uploaded on April 1.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share the devastating news of the unexpected passing of my beautiful wife, Hailey Marie Okula, due to complications from childbirth,” he wrote. “Words cannot convey the depth of the loss I feel. Hailey was more than I could have ever dreamed of in a wife and partner.”

He continued, “She was gorgeous, smart, hardworking, passionate, trustworthy, and above all else, unbelievably loyal. For nearly 13 years, she stood by my side in the hardest of times, loving me endlessly, even when I felt undeserving of that love. She was my everything.”

Matthew also recalled the struggles the couple shared as the navigated their fertility journey and a grueling IVF process before Hailey became pregnant.

“I will never forget the moment I broke down, apologizing for the toll the process would take on her. She held my face, looked into my eyes, and said, ‘We are a team, and we’ll get through this together.’ That was Hailey. A fighter. A teammate. A woman who would do anything for the people she loved,” he concluded. “Though her time with us was tragically cut short, Hailey’s love for Crew was limitless, long before he entered this world. She would have been the most amazing mom. Her spirit, courage, and love will live on in our son, and through everyone whose lives she touched.”
