QVC’s Kerstin Lindquist Bids Tearful Goodbye to Network After 13 Years
QVC’s Kerstin Lindquist tried to hold back tears when she hosted her final show with the shopping network after nearly a decade and a half.
“I love you guys. Honestly, it’s not goodbye,” Lindquist shared on Thursday, February 6, while hosting “Feel Good Finds” with her coworkers and friends Rachel Boesing and Alberti Popaj. “Thank you for having me here for the last 13 years. You really, truly are my family.”
Throughout her farewell show, Lindquist received heartfelt messages from her fellow QVC hosts including Rick Domeier and Pat James DeMentri. She showcased some of her favorite products from Home Reflections, Lug, Calista, Barefoot Dreams and ActionHeat.
She also had the support of her family, who stayed up until midnight to watch her from the QVC studios in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
“Every time you buy something, it is based on a need, and that need is validated by another human,” Lindquist explained in her sendoff. “Here at QVC, that’s what it’s all about. We are validating you as a human being. It can be fulfilled by sticking here with us. It’s a relationship. This isn’t just buying something.”
The QVC veteran encouraged viewers to keep watching and get to know new hosts who are coming to the shopping network.
“All of these new hosts, all of these people, they are here for you,” she said. “They love you. Make new friends, stay engaged with us. That’s what this life is all about. It’s validating each other and being seen and heard. I love you.”
In December 2024, Lindquist first announced she was leaving QVC to spend more time with family and “focus on faith and wellness in women’s lives.”
“After a prayerful year, God has led me to such a time as this,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “This is more than shopping, it’s a relationship, and we will always be family. I pray I’ll still be able to serve you in what’s to come for me in 2025 and I know if you follow along you will continue to be blessed. Xoxo.”
Since announcing her departure, Lindquist said she will be continuing her “StRest” podcast while writing new books and working on health and wellness workshops.
“God always provides. Always,” Lindquist wrote in a blog post on January 30. “Maybe not how we expect but He will provide His peace that goes above our understanding. Stay close friend. The best is yet to come.”
