Paige DeSorbo raised eyebrows after seemingly trolling her ex-boyfriend Craig Conover with a simple social media click.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed on Monday, February 3, that DeSorbo, 32, “liked” a seemingly shady post about relationships one month after going public with her and Conover’s break up.
“I’m so bummed to be single. How will I ever find another guy who brings absolutely nothing to the table,” the post read via the Instagram account sassyaaf.
The quote was shared on January 22, but it wasn’t until Monday that fan account bravosnarkside pointed out that DeSorbo was among the 30,000 users who “liked” it.
While it’s unclear when the Summer House star “liked” the quote — or if it’s a purposeful jab at Conover — it is on brand for DeSorbo, who has become a comment queen on social media since her split from the Southern Charm star.
DeSorbo and Conover, 35, sparked a romance in 2021 after getting close during season 1 of Winter House. The duo confirmed their relationship that September by posting a photo booth snap together at Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s wedding.
The couple brought fans into their love life on both Summer House and Southern Charm as the reality stars crossed over to each other’s shows. However, the twosome sparked split rumors in early December 2024.
While Conover denied there was trouble in paradise, DeSorbo announced on December 30 that they had called it quits over the holidays.
“I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing,” she said on an episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast. “I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
Since their breakup, rumors have surfaced that DeSorbo was unfaithful while they were together. DeSorbo was also accused of moving on too quickly from Conover after she was romantically linked to comedian Marcello Hernandez and a mystery man that she sat next to at a Philadelphia Eagles game in January. (She has denied both alleged romances.)
“I don’t think that those are rumors. I think that they’ve been substantiated, and I think that Craig knows as such,” Conover’s longtime friend Austen Kroll claimed during the January 30 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen when asked about DeSorbo dating again. “He didn’t know for a minute, but yeah, I think that he’s fully come to terms with that. That’s not a rumor.”
DeSorbo clapped back at Kroll’s claims when the clip of his WWHL appearance popped up on the show’s Instagram page. “Ahhh yes a man I haven’t spoken to in 6 months knows exactly what I’m doing,” she wrote in the comments section.
As the rumors about her love life continued to swirl, DeSorbo used her “Giggly Squad” podcast to set the record straight. She outlined her and Conover’s breakup timeline during the Monday broadcast — and once again declared she did not cheat.
“Let me say this here and now: I did not move on with some new guy. I’m single. I don’t have a new boyfriend. I did not cheat — not on my ex-boyfriend,” DeSorbo told her listeners.
She explained that during their three-year relationship, she “never physically cheated on him” or “emotionally cheated.”
DeSorbo then revealed that although she waited until the end of December to tell the public about her split, she actually broke up with Conover during Thanksgiving weekend in November 2024.
She claimed that Conover went on to do press for Southern Charm in December 2024 “acting as if we were still together, and that was fine: I said that he could do that [if] he was processing [the split] in his own way.”
DeSorbo noted that after Christmas she “saw that my ex-boyfriend was on a trip presenting himself as single” which is when she texted Conover to say she was ready to announce the split. “My text went unanswered,” she claimed, so she took control and announced the breakup on her podcast.
While Conover hasn’t spoken much about DeSorbo since their breakup, Us Weekly confirmed in January that he’d unfollowed his ex on Instagram.
Us also confirmed that Conover is on the celebrity-approved dating app Raya and he listed his “interests” as elephants and snowboarding.
