Paige DeSorbo Has a Carrie Bradshaw Moment in Mismatched Heels

Paige DeSorbo takes inspiration from the style icons of New York City.

DeSorbo, 32, pulled off wearing mismatched shoes while stopping in St. Augustine, Florida, during her “Giggly Squad” podcast tour on Saturday, February 15. The following day, the Summer House star took to TikTok to show off her look, which included one black heel and one white pump. Inspired by the one and only Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker), DeSorbo rocked two versions of black-and-white polka dot heels finished with a silver buckle.

She paired the unique footwear with a white ruffled skirt, a silver belt and a flowy blouse. DeSrobo coordinated her look with her jewelry, rocking silver hoop earrings.

For glam, the fashion guru donned a full beat including dewy skin, bronzy eyeshadow, pink glossy lips, long lashes and highlighter swept across her nose. DeSorbo pulled her brunette hair back into a voluminous ponytail.

“Giggly giggly giggle,” DeSorbo captioned the post, prompting fans to gush over her look in the comments section.

“THE SHOES,” one follower exclaimed, as a second wrote, “You are the IT GIRL. ❤️.” A third begged her to share where she found the heels, adding, “Immediately finding these shoes to add to my cart because I’m obsessed.”

DeSorbo took inspiration for her mismatched heels from Carrie, who wore two different sandals in season 3 of Sex and the City. Parker, 59, later revealed via Instagram why the character spiced up her look.

“We had 2 pairs of what I believe are [Christian Louboutin] scrappy sandals. [Costume designer] Patricia [Field] and I chose to do 2 of each,” she wrote in 2019. “Perhaps because both were so delicious in color and seemed in harmony with the dress but also because we simply loved doing 1 of each.”

SJP later took a page from Carrie’s playbook and wore two different heels from her namesake label at the New York City Ballet Gala in October 2023.
