Naomi Watts Twins With Canine Costar Bing at The Friend Premiere

Naomi Watts and Bing the dog stole the show at The Friend premiere.

Watts, 56, stepped out in a look inspired by Bing the Great Dane at The Friend premiere in New York City on Monday, March 24. Her Jacquemus look featured a high halter neck that cascaded into an open back and a loosely fitted top. The bottom of her dress perfectly matched Bing’s back-and-white spots, featuring tufts of dark patches attached to the pleated design.

Further twinning with her furry friend, Watts donned a bright pink lip that coordinated with Bing’s red collar and leash. The rest of her glam featured long lashes, filled-in eyebrows, and bronzy eyeshadow. Her platinum hair was parted down the middle and worn in a straightened bob.

The actress, who plays Iris in the comedy Netflix movie, held Bing’s leash on the red carpet and posed with the pooch, who plays Apollo.

Watts previously posed with Bing on the red carpet in October 2024 at another The Friend premiere during the New York Film Festival.

For the event, she looked sexy chic in a Schiaparelli look, equipped with a sheer corset top and a poofy leather skirt. The actress paired her getup with black heels. Statement diamond earrings added a touch of sparkle to her ensemble.

Making sure to include Bing in the glamorous evening, the dog wore a thin black leather collar around his neck, finished with silver embellishments.

The Friend is scheduled to be released on Netflix on Friday, March 28. According to the official plot, the movie follows Iris after her friend Walter (Bill Murray) dies and she is left with his dog.
