The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Miranda McWhorter poked fun at Demi Engemann after Jessi Ngatikaura exposed their costar’s sex life

“Hey, so if you’re so white trash, how come you never peed in my mouth?” Miranda’s ex-husband, Chase McWhorter, asked her in a TikTok shared on Tuesday, November 25, referring to the reveal that Demi’s mysterious “fruity pebbles sex” act meant she pees on her husband Bret Engemann’s face.

Miranda, 27, didn’t skip a beat, responding, “That’s even beneath my people.” (Bret, 47, called Miranda “white trash” during season 2 of the Hulu series, sparking outrage from many viewers.)

Miranda’s quip caused Chase, 30, to laugh out loud and fans of Miranda to praise her in the comments.

“White Trash final boss @Miranda Hope,” Chase captioned the video, to which Miranda responded in the comments, “And that’s that on that.”

Jessi, 33, replied in the comments section, “HAHAHAHAHAHAH.”

Bachelor alum Kelsey Anderson also gave Miranda and Chase props for the video, writing, “I’m screaming.”

Another fan replied, “I seriously love you & your responses so much.”

Miranda’s clapback video is two-fold for fans of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The TikTok is a subtle nod to Bret’s controversial remark about her on the show and a reaction to Demi, 31, and Bret’s sex life becoming headline news.

During season 2 of the Hulu series, Bret took issue with Chase after he touched Demi at a Halloween party. At the time, Demi claimed that Chase shoved her or pushed her, which caused Bret to defend her and almost come to blows with Chase.

While Chase and Miranda are exes, she defended his actions during season 3 of the show after Demi once again brought up the altercation.

When Demi recounted her conversation with Miranda to Bret on the phone he replied, “That’s a typical response from somebody who’s so deeply rooted in white trash,” slamming Miranda for her alleged upbringing.

Demi’s sex life has been a topic of conversation since season 1 of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives when she was given a box of fruity pebbles by costar Whitney Leavitt as a prank.

It was later revealed that Demi and her husband, Bret, had engaged in a sexual act named after — or with — the cereal, but she didn’t want to go into further detail.

“There was a little bit of tension with my husband and I once it came out,” Demi exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “Now he’s like, ‘Is anybody saying anything?’ It’s become a funny, fun thing that we are totally just having fun with it.”

The truth about fruity pebbles sex was brought to light earlier this week amid Demi and Jessi’s ongoing feud.

“Since she wants to be petty and be an asshole, I think I am just going to go ahead and say that grandpa Bret likes to drink her piss like it is dirty soda,” Jessi, 33, alleged via her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, November 25. “He gulps it down like water. And that is what fruity pebbles means.”

Demi responded to Jessi’s revelation the same day, writing via her own Instagram Story, “What my husband and I did one time behind closed doors was a consensual and private experience in our marriage.”

Demi and Jessi had a falling out between seasons 1 and 2 of the Hulu show over contract negotiations.

After appearing together on season 2 of Vanderpump Villa, the women’s friendship came to an explosive end over rumors regarding their relationships with cast member Marciano Brunette. Jessi eventually confessed to having a two-month emotional affair with Marciano, 32, who also sparked a flirtation with Demi on the trip. (Demi accused Marciano of sexual misconduct, which he’s denied.)

Jessi has since claimed that Marciano was pushed to reveal their secret romance on the show by Demi. Jessi and Demi have since publicly traded jabs on social media.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is now streaming on Hulu.
