Madison Bailey Takes Her Skincare Routine Seriously on Outer Banks Set

While filming Outer Banks, Madison Bailey says she does her “bare minimum” 36-step skincare routine at least “twice a day.”

“I try to do the bare minimum, something I’m definitely gonna stick to and not forget and not be lazy about,” the actress, 25, told Vogue in a “Beauty Secrets” YouTube video posted on Thursday, October 10. “After long days on set, it’s a minimum of skincare routine twice a day,” she added while cleansing her face with the Vinoclean Gentle Foam Cleanser from Caudalíe.

Next, Bailey reached for her Cream Skin Refillable Toner & Moisturizer to “even” her face out.

“I think I started putting together a skincare routine after I had already started Outer Banks and it was a little out of necessity,” she said, explaining that her skin was feeling drier from being repeatedly exposed to the sun while on set.

Bailey kept her face extra hydrated by applying Clarins Double Serum and Double Eye Serum before giving her under eyes even more of a dewy appearance with a mask.

Known as the ultimate anti-aging regimen, Bailey protected her skin with SPF before moving onto her makeup routine.

When it comes to her brows, the actress doesn’t trust anyone to “touch” her strands.

“My brows have seen it all,” she joked. “I started waxing when I was 12 and then they got really, really thin. By high school, I had nothing.” Bailey filled in her (now full) brows with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Eyebrow Pencil.

Bailey continued her camera-ready glam routine by applying a nude eyeshadow to her lid and black winged eyeliner with the Makeup by Mario palette.

After accentuating her eyes with mascara, Bailey primed her face before mixing the Patrick Ta and Pat McGrath foundations together to create her perfect shade.

“If I’m in the sun for even five minutes my skin is a completely different shade,” Bailey laughed. “My foundation drawer is stocked with so many colors and I almost always have to mix them to get it just right.”

Bailey added warmth back into her skin with the Makeup by Mario SoftSculpt Shaping Stick.

When it comes to height, Bailey only draws attention to her nose.
