Love Is Blind’s Madison Wasn’t ‘Afraid to Talk’ About Sex in the Pods

Love Is Blind star Madison Errichiello gave the Netflix experiment her all — meaning nothing was off the table.
The post contains spoilers from Love Is Blind season 8.
Madison, 28, joined the recent cast of the popular Netflix dating show when the LiB pods arrived in Minneapolis in spring 2024. After the latest season premiered one year later on Friday, February 14, she broke down some of the more dramatic moments on screen.
The artist quickly made strong connections with Alex Brown and Mason Horacek, respectively. Viewers saw Madison and Alex, 29, bond over serious family issues while she and Mason, 33, found commonalities regarding artistic passions and a lighthearted flirty banter.
According to Madison, she doesn’t regret discussing her intimate preferences in the pods.
“It’s definitely edited to show two different versions of me and both guys also brought out different things for me,” Madison wrote via Instagram Story on Saturday, February 15. “Alex brought out deeper conversation and Mason brought out a fun, playful side. You ultimately only see so little of the overall conversations we actually had.”
She continued, “I’m not afraid to talk about things related to sex and prefer to be open about it.”
That being said, Madison explained that her bond with Mason also transcended the physical.
“I promise that we had more than just a flirty connection,” she stressed in a follow-up Instagram Story upload. “We connected a lot on being creatives. It’s just not shown in the edit.”
While both men were all-in on Madison — Mason also connected with Meg Fink sight unseen — she was feeling a stronger pull toward Alex. However, their differing attachment styles caused concern for Alex, who wasn’t sure whether he was ready to propose by the end of the 10-day pod experiment.
At the end of the journey — spoiler alert — Madison broke up with Mason before Alex called it quits on their side. According to another social media message, Madison said that she “actually” wasn’t surprised that Alex didn’t end up proposing.
“The day before our break up I told him that I wasn’t quite ready to say ‘I love you’ and that I think we still had a ways to go in our relationship,” she explained. “This didn’t make the edit, but by no means did I expect a proposal. I was open to it, but we just never got there.”
All in all, Madison left the pods with “no regrets.”
“I’m sure I could have handled certain situations differently, but overall I don’t think that would have changed the outcome of anything,” she reflected on Saturday. “What happened was meant to happen, even if it was a little messy.”
While Madison, Alex and Mason all left the pods single, five couples did get engaged sight unseen: Daniel Hasting and Taylor Haag, Monica Danús and Joey Leveille, Dave Bettenburg and Lauren O’Brien, Sara Carton and Ben Mezzenga, as well as Devin Buckley and Virginia Miller. Time will tell who makes it down the aisle and — more importantly — who says “I do.”
Love Is Blind is currently streaming on Netflix. New episodes drop weekly.
