Love Is Blind’s Ashley Sets the Record Straight on Pregnancy Rumors
Love Is Blind’s Ashley Adionser-Francis has had enough of the pregnancy speculation.
“Hey guys, so it looks like apparently I can’t have a private life at all and can’t keep anything to myself. Go figures,” Ashley, 32, said via her Instagram Story on Monday, November 4. “So I figured I’d just come on here and tell you guys the truth.”
No, Ashley is not pregnant, and no, she is not expecting her first baby with husband Tyler Francis.
“Y’all. The way I downed an espresso martini before that game. I was hungry. I was so hungry,” she continued. “And you know the funniest part? I said to myself, I was like, ‘I should not be rubbing my stomach.’ … I gotta stop rubbing my stomach in case someone records it and they just assume. I mean y’all take something and just … run with it. No, I’m not pregnant. Jesus.”
Over the weekend, a video of Ashley at the Baltimore Ravens football game went viral on TikTok. The Love Is Blind star said she began to receive congratulations messages online without realizing the reason.
Once she discovered the speculation, Ashley felt compelled to set the record straight.
“The thing is I have to laugh because I think people forget we were normal people before all of this and now I have to watch literally every single thing I say and do,” she explained via her Instagram Story. “I have four little abs right now. Not that that matters but I literally had on a jersey, a sweatshirt and an undershirt thermal. I found out it was because I rubbed my tummy.”
Fans met Ashley and Tyler, 34, during season 7 of Love Is Blind. During the show’s reunion show, which aired in October, the couple confirmed they are still together.
“She made me feel safe,” Tyler gushed to Us at the time about his wife. “A lot of men look for safety, and at that point when I first met her, she made me feel extremely safe. It was like a warm soul coming through the wall, and I just knew that that was my person.”
While Ashley is also happy in her personal life, this past weekend has given her a new outlook on fame and the power of privacy.
“I will say this experience has definitely made me have more sympathy for people in [the spotlight],” she said. “I definitely have a different perspective now.”
Love Is Blind is streaming now on Netflix.
