Love Is Blind season 3 couple Alexa and Brennon Lemieux were married for four years before going their separate ways.

Alexa and Brennon got engaged during the Texas-set season 3 of the Netflix dating experiment, which culminated in their 2021 wedding. The pair welcomed their daughter, Vienna Ziva, in 2024.

Since the premiere of Love Is Blind in 2020, fans have wondered how effective the concept of speed-dating without seeing the other person actually is. When Did Brennon Lemieux File for Divorce?

Brennon filed to dissolve their marriage on November 5, 2025, nearly one month before Alexa announced the breakup via social media.

Why Did Brennon Lemieux File for Divorce From Alexa Lemieux?

Brennon claimed in court documents obtained by Us Weekly that he and Alexa had a “conflict of personalities.”

“The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between [Brennon] and [Alexa] that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation,” the docs state.

Alexa filed a response to Brennon’s motion on December 4, 2025, denying all of Brennon’s claims. She also requested a disproportionate share of the pair’s estate, citing “fault in the breakup of the marriage.”

What Has Alexa and Brennon Lemieux Said About Their Breakup?

Alexa uploaded a joint statement announcing their divorce via Instagram on December 3, 2025.

“We entered this relationship with love and optimism, and we leave it with gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and the growth we each gained along the way,” the statement read. “While our journey as a married couple is coming to an end, we remain supportive of one another, devoted to our daughter, and committed to navigating this transition with compassion.”

They concluded, “We kindly ask for privacy as we move forward and focus on our individual paths while keeping our precious daughter as our top priority.”

Custody Arrangements

In Brennon’s petition, he hoped that he and Alexa could “enter into a written agreement” regarding custody and financial support of daughter Vienna.

“If such an agreement is made, [Brennon] requests that the court approve that agreement and adopt it as the court’s order,” the docs read. “If such an agreement is not made, [Brennon] requests the court to make orders for conservatorship of, possession of, access to, and support of the child.”

Alexa and Brennon jointly celebrated Halloween in October 2025 with Vienna, one month before both taking her to meet Santa Claus. (While Brennon identifies as a Christian, Alexa practices Judaism. They are raising their daughter with both traditions.)

Do Alexa and Brennon Lemieux Have a Prenup?

Despite discussing whether to sign a prenup on Love Is Blind, Alexa and Brennon ultimately didn’t utilize one upon their wedding day.

“We never had one. I also never asked for one,” Alexa said in a 2022 video shared via social media. “It’s something that Brennon brought up and asked about getting one to protect me. It’s just something I wasn’t interested in doing.”

In Brennon’s divorce docs, he hoped that he and Alexa could work out an amicable division of assets and each keep any premarital property.

“[Brennon] owns certain separate property that is not part of the community estate of the parties,” the filing states. “[Brennon] requests the court to confirm that separate property as [Brennon’s] separate property and estate.”
