Lori Harvey Wears Latex Bodysuit for 1st ‘Playboy’ Cover in 5 Years
Lori Harvey isn’t just that girl, she’s a Playboy cover girl — the first first to grace the legendary magazine’s print issue in five years — and she nailed it, as seen in a slick new video teaser and accompanying preview pic.
When the 12-second clip was revealed on Thursday, January 21, with the model-slash-skincare entrepreneur (and daughter of Steve Harvey) proving her centerfold-worthy bonafides.
Harvey, 26, was the picture of a modern-day sex pot with an eye for killer style. As she reclined on top of a freshly buffed 1960 MGA convertible, with a license plate that read “PLAYBOY” in all caps, she struck a pose from behind in a 1996 backless black dress by Tom Ford, (AKA “The King of Sexy”), which was equipped with a visible G-string and a “TF” gold logo medallion.
She stripped even further down for her second look: a liquid latex bodysuit, featuring puffed sleeves, a plunging neckline and high-cut hips. The genius behind the glossy fit is Atsuko Kudo, the Japanese-born designer who has created second-skin naked dresses for a slew of celebrities, including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, Jennifer Lopez and more.
From there, Harvey slipped into over-the-knee boots festooned with black feathers. She eschewed additional accoutrements, which kept the focus on her flawless glam: a countered complexion with snatched cheekbones and matte lipstick in a delicious chocolate brown shade. She used a lip pencil in a darker tint to outline the contours of her mouth — seamlessly creating the “90s supermodel lips,” a look made famous by the likes of Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista.
Harvey is no stranger to the runway, having made her Milan Fashion Week debut in 2020, when she walked for Dolce & Gabbana before soon turning up at Valentino and Burberry’s shows, too.
At a petite 5-feet-3 inches, Harvey has spoken about not fitting the traditional mold. “It’s kind of cool, because I feel like it’s opening up a door for a new generation of models that look more like me versus being 5-foot-10 and super skinny [with a] super flat stomach and super skinny legs,” she told BET in 2007. “I don’t have to be a size 00. I can literally just be me, and that’s OK.”
Details of Harvey’s Playboy feature (as well as an interview with breakout comedian Nikki Glazer, fresh from hosting the 2025 Golden Globes), in the forthcoming issue are mostly mum; however, the magazine has a history of pulling steamy bits from celebrities about their inner lives. And judging by Harvey’s sizzling cover girl aesthetic, the return of print looks pretty hot.
The print issue hits shelves February 10, and the digital version is available for pre-order now.
