Lisa Vanderpump Teases New Cast Members for Vanderpump Rules Season 12

Lisa Vanderpump is confident the new cast of Vanderpump Rules will deliver plenty of drama once cameras start rolling.

“When you have a restaurant, especially in Hollywood, with a revolving door of beautiful people who are all kind of normally rather large personalities because they come to Hollywood for a reason, it’s always complicated,” Vanderpump, 64, exclusively told Us Weekly on February 5 while celebrating the launch of Jason FeltsHollywood Virgin book. “I am sure it’s gonna be very different with these young little minxes when they get to work, but we shall see.”

In November 2024, Bravo announced season 12 of Vanderpump Rules will feature a new group of “close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors.”

The show, which debuted in 2013, originally started as a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and evolved into its own franchise.

Cameras rolled as Vanderpump and various workers at her SUR restaurant — Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder, to name a few — tried to navigate professional and personal conflict.

When asked to share why fans should be pumped for season 12 and a whole new cast, Vanderpump expressed confidence that the new group will not disappoint.

“I’ve got to shoot it first, of course,” she shared from The Abbey in West Hollywood, California. “I got some very interesting characters for sure, but SUR has been around a long time, and as I say, it’s a show we could have shot 12 months of the year.”

These days, Vanderpump is focused on her multiple businesses while also helping neighbors affected by the recent Los Angeles fires.

While attending the Hollywood Virgin book launch, which benefited the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, Vanderpump shared how Vanderpump Dogs is helping animals in need.

“We’ve been offering free grooming for the dogs who have been affected by the fire,” she shared. “We’re also trying to free the shelters up and take as many dogs as we can so they can rescue more. That’s so close to our heart.”

One thing she’s not interested in is returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Despite Garcelle Beauvais expressing hope that her friend will return to the show she once launched, Vanderpump said she’s not interested.

“I love Garcelle. I actually think she’s probably one of the only ones I would have anything in common with,” Vanderpump explained. “I think she’s a really hard working, down-to-earth woman and I have a lot of respect for her. The nonsense on the show? Not so much.”
