Kristin Cavallari Reunites With Laguna Beach Costars for 20-Year Reunion

Kristin Cavallari is returning to her Laguna Beach roots to celebrate her 20-year high school reunion.

Cavallari, 38, posed in a photobooth with Lauren Olsen and more of her former Laguna Beach costars in a photo shared by Jason Wahler via Instagram on Sunday, November 30. At the bottom of the photo strip read, “LBHS Class of 2005.”

“20 year reunion! Such a fun time!” Wahler, 38, wrote.

Laguna Beach premiered in 2004, centering around the lives of affluent high school students. Two decades later, the cast is set to appear in a two-hour special Roku Presents: The Laguna Beach Reunion, debuting on The Roku Channel in 2026.

“When I first pitched the show to my bosses at MTV, never in a million years did I think we would find such a perfect group of real friends. The show not only changed my life and the cast’s lives, but the series meant so much to a generation of fans who’ve been waiting for this,” creator Liz Gateley said, per Variety. “To partner with Roku to reunite the cast and produce this special with Lauren, Stephen and Kristin as executive producers 20 years later is a dream.”

Lucilla D’Agostino and Barry Poznick are executive producing the special with Bill Langworthy, who also serves as showrunner. Overseeing the special for Roku Originals are Olivia LaRoche and Louisa Lenander Friedman.

“Laguna Beach wasn’t just a television series; it defined a generation of pop culture and paved the way for the reality genre as we know it,” Brian Tannenbaum, Head of Roku Originals, Roku Media, said. “Reuniting this cast two decades later is a dream, and we are delighted to give streamers a front-row seat to the nostalgia.”

In September, Lauren Conrad teased the reunion while sharing a series of throwback photos including one of her with castmates Cavallari, Stephen Colletti, Morgan Smith, Christina Sinclair, Trey Phillips, Lo Bosworth and Talan Torriero.

Steee-phen! Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti captured fans’ attention in 2004 when their relationship played out on seasons 1 and 2 of Laguna Beach. The high school sweethearts’ on-again, off-again romance kept MTV viewers wondering whether they were end game or if Colletti would pursue a relationship with longtime friend Lauren Conrad. While Cavallari and […]

“Let’s go back to the beginning…” Conrad wrote via Instagram at the time. “Reuniting the cast of Laguna Beach, coming to the Roku Channel in 2026.”

Cavallari later revealed that she pitched the reunion alongside Conrad and Colletti, noting that it “took a minute” but they finally “found a home” on Roku.

“It’s going to be a two-hour special. I don’t know exactly what I can or can’t say,” Cavallari said during an October episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “No one has told me specifically, but I’ve seen everyone else be pretty vague on social media, so I feel like I should follow suit because I’m typically the one that says too much and then I do get in trouble for it.”

Several of the cast members reunited for a live-taping of Cavallari’s “Let’s Be Honest” podcast as part of her The Headline Tour earlier this year. In one image, Olsen, Torriero, Wahler, Alex Murrel and Jess Revans joined Cavallari onstage.

“Chicago got wild!!!!” Cavallari captioned her post, sending a message to her former cast members and guest Harry Jowsey. “Love my OG Laguna crew and my fave @harryjowsey.”

While sharing a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her time at the show, Murrel wrote via Instagram,
“I love Chicago 🫶🏼 so many laughs, talks, hugs and memories made! Thank you @kristincavallari for having us 🤍.”
