Kim Kardashian’s Skims and Nike to Launch ‘Strong and Sexy’ Collab

Strong is sexy — just ask Kim Kardashian and Nike.
On Tuesday, February 18, Kardashian, 44, and Nike announced via Instagram that they would be joining forces for their “first collaboration,” set to be released in spring 2025 under the name, “NikeSKIMS.”
“Nike and Skims share a deep commitment to innovation, inclusivity and pushing boundaries, driven by an unwavering belief in the power of women,” Kardashian wrote in the statement. (The reality star cofounded her brand Skims in 2019.)
She continued: “This partnership is the culmination of that shared vision, delivering product[s] that [are] meticulously designed to sculpt and perform for everybody. Every single detail has been obsessed over and carefully considered.”
While the new styles have yet to be seen, Kardashian noted in her caption on Tuesday that they were not just designed to sculpt but “engineered to perform.”
On her brand’s website, there were more hints at what’s to come. “We heard you loud and clear: You want to look good and feel good. That’s why Nike and Skims are teaming up to introduce a new brand,” which will be specifically created for women and the “body obsessed.”
President of consumer, product and brand at Nike, Inc. Heidi O’Neil echoed Kardashian’s words in a statement shared via an Instagram Story on Tuesday.
“We’re energized by the opportunity to build a new brand and shake things up for the next generation of athletes with NikeSKIMS,” the announcement read. “This partnership brings together the best of both brands and unlocks an incredible opportunity to disrupt the industry without shared passion and commitment to innovation.”
The collab hopes to “invite even more athletes into sport and movement” with pieces that make them “feel strong and sexy,” it concluded.
Currently, there is a sign-up form on skims.com where users can enter their email to “stay in the know by joining the Skims waitlist.”
