Kendra Wilkinson Talks Coparenting Update With Ex Hank Baskett
Kendra Wilkinson praised ex-husband Hank Baskett for their “amazing” coparenting relationship.
“Honestly, I couldn’t have a better coparent,” Wilkinson, 39, spoke exclusively to Us at the Us Weekly + Pluto TV Reality Stars of the Year Party at the Dream Hotel on Thursday, October 10. “I couldn’t ask God for a better person in my life.”
Wilkson experienced a series of ups and downs during her marriage to Baskett, 42, from 2009 to 2018. However, things between them seem to be great as they work together to raise their two kids: son Hank IV, 14, and daughter Alijah, 10. (Fans watched Wilkinson and Baskett’s relationship during various reality shows over the years. Kendra aired from 2009 to 2011 while Kendra on Top aired from 2012 to 2017.)
The Girl’s Next Door alum also gushed over her children while attending the event.
“He’s playing basketball and you’re gonna see him in the pros,” Wilkinson said of her teenage son. “You’ll see him in the pros.”
Us also had to ask Wilkinson about the possibility of returning to television, especially since the night was all about reality TV. After revealing that she’s a Jersey Shore viewer, Wilkinson teased an upcoming project.
“Right now, I’m currently putting together, maybe, a show with their production company. We’re thinking about developing a new show,” she declared. “I can’t really tease that much, but it’s something that everybody will wanna watch.”
While she’s still in the television space, Wilkinson doesn’t think that becoming a Real Housewife is in her future.
“I have to probably get married or have some sort of man in my life,” she told Us. “I have no man in my life right now — other than my son. … He is the best man to have in my life.”
Wilkinson can’t stop gushing over her kids with Us, it seems. Back in March she shared that motherhood is her main focus right now, calling her son and daughter “everything good and great” about her life.
“They’re everything easy about my life. They’re everything right about my life. They ground me and they make me a better person,” she said at the time. “They’re such good kids. I’m so lucky to have them. They don’t make anything challenging. It’s just very easy.”
Wilkinson also said during the March interview that she’s not “focused on finding a guy” at the moment. “My day is taken up with kids, real estate and just my mental health.”
