Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Channel Taylor and Travis for Halloween

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are dressing to impress this Halloween — by channeling another very famous couple.

The talk show hosts shared a sneak peek of their costumes for the upcoming Halloween episode of Live With Kelly and Mark, revealing that they decided to recreate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s looks from their trip to the US Open in September.

Ripa, 54, channeled Swift, 34, in a red-and-white checkered dress similar to the Reformation look the pop star wore while taking in the men’s singles final last month. She accessorized with black, oval-shaped sunglasses and brown sandals, plus Swift’s signature red lip.

Consuelos, 53, executed a near-perfect rendition of Kelce’s look, which included a Gucci bucket hat and cardigan. The Riverdale alum also wore a fake mustache as a nod to Kelce’s current facial hair.

“Nobody gives less Taylor vibes than me,” Ripa said in an interview with USA Today. “I’ve known Taylor Swift since she was a young teenager and first appeared on our show many, many, many years ago. And she’s been on our show many times, and in every era of her life. She is just as charming and divine and delightful, and all of the things that you think she is for all of these years. I can’t capture the essence of that in a very brief clip of her dancing at the US Open, but I did my best to at least not embarrass her on behalf of both of us.”

Kelce’s US Open outfit in particular inspired some mockery online, with his own brother roasting him after photos from the event went viral.

“You went country club,” Jason Kelce joked of his brother’s ensemble, but Travis, 35, said he was just trying to fit in. “It was tennis. What do you want me to do?” he asked.

Jason, 36, suggested that Travis “recorrect” his image. “You gotta go back to your roots,” he quipped.

Travis, however, asserted that he’s a fashion “chameleon” capable of rocking many different styles. “I float. I just blend. I just blend in the trees, man,” he said. “I dressed the part, I acted the part, I was very quiet except for intermissions when they were playing music. That was about the only time I was really showing my personality.”

Consuelos and Ripa also dressed as Swift and Travis for last year’s Halloween episode of Live. Ripa wore a blonde wig with bangs and a Kansas City Chiefs jacket, while Consuelos chose a replica of Travis’ Chiefs uniform, No. 87 jersey and all.

Live’s 2024 Halloween special airs Thursday, October 31, in syndication. Check local listings for airtimes.
