Kayla Nicole Reacts After Nail Lady Asks About Valentine’s Day Plans

Kayla Nicole can’t avoid questions about her love life — even when she’s getting her nails done.

Nicole, 33, who dated Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce off-and-on for five years before calling it quits in 2022, took to her Instagram Story on Monday, January 27 to detail a conversation she had in the waning days of an admittedly long month.

“My nail lady had the nerve to ask me today, on January 57th, if I have plans for Valentine’s Day,” Nicole said in a video.

The model and influencer then zoomed in on her face before saying, “Don’t piss me off.”

Travis Kelce has game on and off the field — and his dating history proves it. Nicole captioned the video with a simple message: “No.”

It wasn’t all bad news on Monday for Nicole, however, who showed off her body in a separate video posted via her Instagram Story.

“I haven’t had hard liquor all month,” Nicole shared, while posing in a crop top and sweatpants.

Nicole recently discussed her famous ex while appearing on season 3 of Fox’s reality competition series, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. In a conversation with surfer Alana Blanchard and Disney alum Kyla Pratt during the January 7 season premiere, Nicole divulged about a past partner.

“He’s dating Taylor Swift,” she said. “I just get a lot of s— online because he’s dating such a mega superstar.”

Later in the episode, the Special Forces soldiers pulled up an article from The Independent with the headline: “Travis Kelce’s ex Kayla Nicole asks trolls to ‘leave her alone’ as Taylor Swift releases new album.”

The article came out shortly after the release of Swift’s album The Tortured Poets Department in April 2024, Nicole posted via X: “There’s just no way I can fully digest all these new albums. I’m still on Cowboy Carter.”

Nicole then responded to critics who perceived her message to be about Swift’s new music.

Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, hit headlines last week, when she spoke about how his relationship with Taylor Swift had affected her — but now says she regrets being so open. “I’m unproblematic. Mind my business. Never respond to the constant vitriol,” she posted. “Solid as they come & don’t expect a pat on the back for it either. Just know everyone has a breaking point & would love for ‘yall’ (because you know exactly who you are) to leave me alone.”

More recently, Nicole has seemed eager to leave all the drama about her relationship with Kelce in the past.

During a January 21 appearance on the “I Am Athlete” podcast, Nicole discussed the Kansas City Chiefs’ then-upcoming AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills with podcast cohosts Brandon Marshall and Josh Bellamy

“They have guys they can throw the ball to who aren’t going to drop the ball in the end zone,” Nicole said. “Travis Kelce — that’s a tight end that’s not gonna [drop the ball].” The Chiefs went on to win the game and advance to Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February 9.
