Kate Middleton Wears Victoria Beckham Suit to Support Her Netflix Doc

Kate Middleton subtly supported Victoria Beckham in the most fashionable way.

Middleton, 43, paid a sartorial tribute to Beckham, 51, on the day that her namesake Netflix documentary dropped on Thursday, October 9.

While visiting Home-Start Oxford to chat with volunteers who help the non-profit created for families with children, the Princess of Wales rocked an olive green power suit by none other than Posh Spice.

The design featured a tailored jacket with delicate buttons and pockets on the side. She teamed it with a matching sweater underneath, which she tucked into her flared pants.

Kate Middleton championed emerging British design talent on Tuesday, May 13, while presenting the eighth Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design in London. Kate styled the look with a gold coin necklace, dangling earrings and a statement ring.

For glam, she sported soft makeup, including dewy skin, punk lips, brown eyeshadow and long lashes. Her highlighted mane was parted to the side and styled in bouncy curls.

Kate previously wore the same outfit in May, when she delivered the eighth Queen Elizabeth II Award to Patrick McDowell for British Design on behalf of the British Fashion Council. At the time, she wore the suit with a white blouse with ruffled details.

Kate has a long history of wearing fabulous suits. Her wardrobe consists of everything from navy blue sets, red, textured blazers which she paired with black slacks, nude outfits with a boot-cut hem, button-adorned looks, crisp white styles and more.

Victoria and her husband, David Beckham, have been close with the royal family for decades. David, 50, met Prince William and Prince Harry in the 1990s, as the royals are soccer fans.

In 2012, David told Esquire that he has a “very normal relationship” with both royals.

“They’re very easy to get along with. They love their sport. William loves Aston Villa, unfortunately, which obviously I give him a bit of stick about,” he joked at the time, noting the team was his rival. (The soccer pro played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.)

According to Netflix, fans will “step into Victoria Beckham’s London atelier” in her documentary “as the Spice Girl-turned-powerhouse designer opens up about her life while preparing for Paris Fashion Week.”

In the documentary, she opened up about her personal struggles with an eating disorder and trying to control her weight amid her rise to fame.

“I don’t know what I saw when I looked in the mirror,” she said. “Was I fat? Was I thin? I don’t know. You lose all sense of reality. I was just very critical of myself. I didn’t like what I saw. It’s been a lot and that’s hard.”

Victoria recalled losing “all sense of reality” after the Spice Girls broke up in 2000.

She continued, “I’ve been everything from Porky Posh to Skinny Posh. I mean, you know it’s been a lot, and that is hard. I had no control over what’s been written about me, pictures that were being taken, and I suppose I wanted to control that, you know, control it with the clothing.”
