Kanye West has been dropped by his talent agency following his days-long antisemitic rant on social media.
“Effective immediately, I’m no longer representing YE (F/K/A Kanye West) due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for,” Daniel McCartney wrote via his Instagram Story on Monday, February 10. “Peace and love to all.”
McCartney is a music agent with 33&West. In addition to repping musicians, the group also works with various comedians and actors.
West, 47, is no longer listed on 33&West’s website as one of their clients.
Us Weekly has reached out to West for comment.
News that West is no longer being represented by McCartney or 33&West comes days after the rapper went on a days-long social media tirade starting on Friday, February 7. West shared a series of posts celebrating Adolf Hitler via X, including offensive remarks about the Jewish community.
In addition to antisemitic remarks, West also declared that he holds “dominion over” his wife, Bianca Censori.
“This ain’t no woke as feminist s—,” he wrote via X. “She’s with a billionaire. Why would she listen to any of you dumb ass broke bitches. People say the red carpet look was her decision. Yes, I don’t make her do nothing she doesn’t want to.”
West was referring to Censori’s Grammys red carpet look, where the model, 30, donned a completely sheer dress that exposed her entire body.
“She definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without my approval, you stupid ass woke pawns,” West claimed during his X stream. “I have no respect or empathy for anyone living ’cause no one living can f— with me, but I do love some people and I give them favor.”
After speaking about Censori, an account seemingly pretending to be the designer claimed to have “concern” over West. Censori denied creating the post. A representative for Censori told Us on Sunday, February 9 that, “We have reached out to X to get the account unverified and/or banned.”
Following the rant, Deadline reported that West’s page had a “potentially sensitive content” warning message. Per the outlet, Elon Musk said: “Given what he has posted, his account is now classified as NSFW [not safe for work]. You should not be seeing that anymore.”
West allegedly later wrote: “I’m logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent. It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board.”
On Monday, February 10, West’s X account was subsequently deactivated. It is unclear if West deactivated the account himself or if it was removed from the platform.
