Justin Bieber Smokes Bong After His Rep Denied Drug Rumors

Justin Bieber is continuing to poke fun at rumors about his drug use.

In a carousel of Instagram photos shared on Monday, March 3, Bieber, 31, rode on a bicycle while blowing out smoke and holding a bong in his hands. Bieber donned a fuzzy red-and-blue jacket with the hood over his head, pairing the outfit with baggy black pants and brown boots. He did not caption the post.

The post comes days after Bieber shared a clip via his Instagram Story that showed him smoking what appeared to be a joint. In the video, Bieber smiled directly at the camera and took a puff of the alleged joint. Bieber began smiling and approached the camera closer before taking a second puff and smiling again. The song “Attitude” by Don Toliver played in the background as Bieber started dancing.

Two days prior, Bieber shared a video rapping about being “high.” While swaying back and forth to the track, Bieber lip-synched, “I fly high like a magpie / I go high like I’m that guy.”

Shortly before the videos appeared online, a representative for Bieber addressed speculation that he was using drugs, telling TMZ in a February 23 statement that the rumors were “absolutely not true” and calling the speculation “exhausting and pitiful.” The statement noted that the conversation surrounding Bieber’s mental health “shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”

One month earlier, Justin raised eyebrows after social media users noticed he was not following his wife, Hailey Bieber, on Instagram. Hailey, who wed Justin in 2018, was still following her husband. (Justin and Hailey, 28, welcomed son Jack Blues in August 2024.)

Justin later took to social media to set the record straight about the alleged unfollow. “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” he claimed at the time via social media. “S— is getting suss out here.”

While Justin also made headlines for recent outings to a spa where he walked down the street in minimal clothing, a source exclusively told Us that the “Baby” singer “knows he looks strange” — but “it’s just him.”

“And after the rumors he’s doing it out of spite now, he’s just being himself and won’t create a squeaky clean image just because the public wants him to,” the insider said, adding that “there’s no breakdown” and Justin “just really doesn’t care what people think.” The source added, “Justin is a happy camper right now. … He’s happier than he’s been in a long time.”
