Jason Kelce Launches YouTube Channel: ‘Guess I’m a YouTuber Now’

Jason Kelce can add a new line to his resume: Namely, that of YouTuber.

The former NFL star took to his Instagram Story on Thursday, November 28, to announce that he’d launched his very own YouTube channel. “Happy Thanksgiving,” he wrote, teasing one of his newly uploaded videos in the clip. “Guess I’m a YouTuber now.”

Kelce, 37, currently has three videos on his channel: One, titled “I’m Letting High School Students Transform My ’86 Chevy Into A Tesla-Powered Supercar,” details how he worked with Kansas City charitable organization Operation Breakthrough, which helps kids in need develop real-world skills.

“These high school students showed me how they converted a classic Chevelle into a Tesla-powered masterpiece,” he wrote in the caption. “So I did what any reasonable person would do – I handed them the keys to my ’86 Chevy K10! In this video you’ll see that these aren’t just any high school students. They pitched me two options for my truck: amazing and INSANE. We’re talking dual Tesla Model 3 battery packs, 500-mile range, and a full show-quality restoration. When they tried sneaking past that $30,000 price difference… I knew we had to go all in.”

A second video, “My $250K Field Goal Attempt at Penn State Went Viral (For the Wrong Reason)” references Kelce’s participation in Pat McAfee‘s College GameDay kicking competition, where the sports analyst offered to donate $500,000 to hurricane relief efforts if Kelce could “nail a field goal at Penn State while wearing Timberlands.”

The video also referred to the real reason the incident went viral: The moment when, later, he repeated a homophobic slur in response to a heckler and smashed his phone. “The day didn’t go exactly as planned, but that’s what makes college football special – you never know what’s going to happen,” Kelce wrote in the video’s description.

He added in the video that the incident was “Not who I am, not what I stand for, and I’m not proud of it…there’s enough divisiveness in the world.”

The final video, “We Shot A Music Video With Mt Joy At An Eagles Game,” goes behind the scenes of Kelce’s Christmas song performance with Mt. Joy, which took place November 14 before the Philadelphia Eagles game against the Washington Commanders.

The new YouTube channel isn’t Kelce’s first foray into media. The former Philadelpha Eagle and brother Travis Kelce have hosted their “New Heights” podcast since September 2022.
