Is Ballet Dancer Tiler Peck Married? Relationship History Explained

Just like a reality TV showmance, ballerina Tiler Peck has found love in the dance studio.

Peck, now 36, began her formal training at the School of American Ballet in 2002, going on to join the New York City Ballet as an apprentice two years later. She has been a principal dancer with the company since 2009.

As she rose through the ranks, Peck sparked a connection with fellow New York City Ballet dancer Robbie Fairchild. The pair tied the knot in a dreamy Manhattan wedding in the summer of 2014, but their marriage didn’t have a fairy tale ending. Peck and Fairchild split in 2017, shortly before he left New York City Ballet.

Though her marriage to Fairchild ended in divorce, Peck found love once again in the ballet studio. She got engaged to fellow principal dancer Roman Mejia in the fall of 2024 and the pair said “I do” less than a year later.

Sometimes falling in love onstage can lead to an epic offstage romance — just ask Leslie Odom Jr. and Nicolette Robinson, who met during a production of Once on This Island. “Les was responsible for helping me figure out all of my blocking,” Robinson told Broadway.com in October 2018, explaining that she was asked to […]

The couple will bring holiday magic to the New York City streets — and to homes around the country — during the 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 27.

“I may have lost a pair of pointe shoes to the rain, but so excited for tomorrow!” Peck teased via Instagram while rehearsing for the big performance.

Tiler Peck’s 1st Marriage

In 2014, Peck and Fairchild said “I do” in New York City. The duo — who met in a dance class back in 2001 — shared more than a decade of history before settling down together. They also shared the stage countless times throughout their ballet careers.

Three years after their wedding, however, the pair announced their separation. “We can confirm that Tiler and Robbie have decided to part ways. They wish nothing but the best for each other as they move forward into their next phases, personally and professionally,” read a statement from their representatives in 2017.

Fairchild — who has also performed on Broadway and starred in the 2019 movie adaptation of Cats — would eventually leave New York City Ballet and publicly come out as gay.

“I loved hanging around my gay friends and felt like I’d met my people, but I wouldn’t let myself have that because of my internal homophobia,” Fairchild said in a 2022 interview, noting that he had been closeted since he was a teenager. “So, I got married and tried really hard, but it just doesn’t work that way.”

Who Is Robbie Fairchild Dating?

Following his divorce from Peck, Fairchild found love with another dancer named Ben Rudisin. Fairchild celebrated the second anniversary of their first date in April.

“For years I believed whole heartedly that what I had felt for other men was disgusting lust, growing up in a place like Salt Lake City will do that to you, even if you have liberal loving parents,” Fairchild wrote via Instagram. “But my love is real, it’s beautiful. Gay love is real and beautiful. And god damn am I happy to have found such an incredible partner. … These past 2 years validate little gay Robbie in a way I honestly never knew if I’d get.”

He continued, “My favorite moment is when my parents met him on Christmas last year, the first actual boyfriend of mine they’d ever met and at 35 years old, they hugged him and said, ‘Thank you for making our son so happy.’ ♥️.”

Tiler Peck’s 2nd Marriage

Peck moved on with Mejia, who proposed in 2024. The dancers tied the knot in New York City the following year.

“Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Mejia!!” Peck gushed via Instagram in July. “Words cannot describe how elated I am to officially have married my best friend and partner! Our wedding felt straight out of a fairytale and to be surrounded by family and friends was such a dream!”

The couple later celebrated their wedding with honeymoon trips to Hawaii and Bora Bora before returning to the ballet stage.

Peck and Mejia previously performed together at the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Ahead of the 2025 event, Peck shared a throwback photo from rehearsals with her now-husband.

“The parade was something my family and I watched every year together. I remember waking up to my dad cooking the turkey while we were all gathered around the TV. I know he’d be so proud that I get to be a part of it this year 🤍,” she captioned an Instagram post.
