Hailee Steinfeld, Josh Allen Match in Halloween Ring Master Costumes
Hailee Steinfeld and boyfriend Josh Allen brought the circus to New York with their Buffalo Bills Halloween bash.
The couple wore matching ring master costumes while hosting the festive party on Monday, October 28. Steinfeld, 27, donned a sexy red coat over a black bodysuit and sheer black tights with black high heels. She pulled her hair back in a low bun and had a pop of red on her lips and nails.
The Bills quarterback, 28, wore a similar red coat with gold detailing around the neck, a red vest and white shirt with black pants and a black top hat. Like any dedicated host, the NFL player handed out prizes throughout the night.
“Welcome to Josh & Hailee’s Circus Showdown” a sign inside the venue read, according to social media posts. The entrance was a giant clown, and guests had to walk through the mouth.
While Steinfeld and Allen — who have been dating since spring 2023 — didn’t post any photos of the Halloween party on their respective Instagram accounts, Allen’s teammates and their significant others took fans inside the bash.
Paige Buechele, who is married to Bills backup quarterback Shane Buechele, shared videos of Allen emceeing for the night via her Instagram Story.
In one clip, Allen gave Shane, 26, his prize for winning one of the circus games. Shane, who was dressed as Travis Barker, played several fair-inspired games, according to his pregnant wife’s social media, and won a Malbon golf bag and a set of custom clubs from what appeared to be a silent auction. (Paige was dressed as Barker’s wife, Kourtney Kardashian, from the concert in which Kardashian told Barker she was pregnant.)
Allen was also seen cheering on Shane as he tried his hand at darts, throwing them at balloons on a target.
In addition to circus games, the tables were decked out in black and white striped tablecloths and there were colorful balloons everywhere. The red and white fabric that hung from the ceiling was reminiscent of the iconic red top of a circus. To complete the festive ambiance, the couple displayed retro clown figures throughout the space.
There were also teddy bears and toys commonly seen at the circus or fair hanging from booths and throughout the venue, per social media.
Danika Johnson, who is married to Bills defensive lineman Austin Johnson, revealed via her Instagram Story that there were popcorn boxes with cotton candy and rainbow lollipops at each table. Steinfeld and Allen also had a custom, on-theme menu, complete with cocktails including the “Freakshow Fizz” and “Ringleader’s Remedy.”
The “Big Top Breeze” was a non-alcoholic drink, while the “Trapeze Twist” was the gin option and the “Midnight Acrobat” featured vodka.
The Halloween party came one day after the Bills beat the Seattle Seahawks at home in Washington state, 31-10. The bash also marked the most public Steinfeld and Allen have been since sparking romance speculation in May 2023.
The pair remained quiet about their relationship status for months before Steinfeld was spotted in October 2023 at Allen’s game in London. It wasn’t until July that Allen hard launched their relationship, sharing a photo of the Pitch Perfect 2 actress posing with his inner circle over the summer.
Steinfeld has since become a staple at the Bills games and has shown she’s a true Bills Mafia supporter. “Football season is back which means a few things. A) I get to watch my favorite person continue to make NFL history every week (go off 17),” she wrote in a September issue of her “Beau Society” newsletter. “B) We’re just a few weeks away from drastic temperature drops (California girl speaking) where you’ll find me drinking hot chocolate bundled in vintage Bills gear.”
The Hawkeye alum added: “I spent most of the game thinking about how lucky I am to get a front-row seat to the magic that is JA17, the entire Bills team and the stadium energy. The people who make up Bills Mafia are second to none.”
Earlier this month, Steinfeld and Allen were spotted at the first annual Shakir Family Pet Adoption Event in Buffalo, New York.
