Golden Bachelorette’s Joan Names the Most Stylish Man on Her Season
Joan Vassos had a stylish group of men on The Golden Bachelorette — but one in particular stood out.
“We had good style. I gotta tell you,” Vassos, 61, exclusively told Us Weekly in her cover story. “Gary [Levingston] was hilarious. He has really good style and he’s also not afraid to wear something really bold,” she added, noting he rocks everything from gold jackets and brown blazers to bright red polos.
Levingston isn’t the only one who has a sharp fashion sense on season 1 of The Golden Bachelorette. Vassos — who gets some of her fashion inspiration from actress Jane Fonda — keen sense of style includes effortlessly slaying bedazzled dresses, sexy leather frocks, sleek and silky ensembles and more.
“I love having a stylist,” Vassos, 61, admitted to Us. “If I could have something in my life for the rest of my life, it would be Cary Fetman.”
Vassos’ “favorite” outfit that Fetman worked his magic on was a black leather Alice + Olivia gown, which she wore during a rose ceremony. “It’s so pretty. I love that dress,” she reminisced to Us.
The edgy Retha Strapless Vegan Leather & Sequined Gown ($695) featured a hip-high slit that was covered in glittery lace that cascaded into a dainty train. Vassos paired the strapless look with a crystal choker and chunky ring.
Another fashion moment that Vassos is still obsessed with is the Zimmermann Natura Belted Mini Dress ($1075) that she wore on a Las Vegas date with Pascal Ibgui, as well as her Night 1 gown, the Randi Rahm Nude Lolita dress. The glamourous getup featured a mock neck, a crystal-embellished silhouette and a gold cape.
“You couldn’t see the detail, but it was covered in the most beautiful crystals,” Vassos praised. “I can’t even describe the dress. It was probably the prettiest thing I’ve ever had on in my life. I felt like a princess.”
Elsewhere during her season, which airs Wednesdays on ABC at 8 p.m. EST, Vassos had a real-life princess moment while wearing her viral Amarra Cinderella dress during a Disneyland date.
“I felt a little bullish when I was putting it on and when I was coming out,” Vassos confessed to Us. “But once you’re kind of out in Disneyland, you look totally normal because people think that you’re just Cinderella.”
