Eminem’s Daughter Alaina Marie Gushes About Being ‘Auntie’
Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade Scott is pregnant — and one special person in her life is unable to contain her excitement about it.
Hailie’s sister Alaina Marie took to Instagram recently to post a sweet message about how she can’t wait to become an aunt. “One of the greatest gifts I’ve ever been given is having the title of being your sister. I have a feeling being called AUNTIE is going to be the another one of the best,” she wrote.
Captioning a montage of photos and video showing the two sisters together as children and at their respective wedding days, Alaina continued, “Every day I wake up dancing saying I’m gonna be an auntie, I’m gonna be an auntie🥲 CAN NOT WAIT – baby M (m for McClintock) is already so loved.”
Hailie, 28, responded to the post: “Sobbing all over again,” with a crying face and heart emojis. “Love you so much & baby m is so lucky to have you as an auntie.”
Alaina, 31, is the oldest of rapper Eminem’s three children. She was born to Hailie’s mother Kim Scott’s twin sister, Dawn Scott, and adopted by Eminem when she was a child. (Their younger sister, Stevie, 22, was also adopted by Eminem, but has Kim as her biological mother.)
Hailie and husband Evan McClintock announced on Friday, October 11, that they are expecting a boy.
“We’re so excited,” the couple enthused during an episode of her “Just a Little Shady” podcast. Hailie and Evan popped a balloon showering them in blue confetti when revealing their baby’s sex to listeners.
Eminem, 51, revealed his daughter’s pregnancy earlier this month when releasing the music video for his song “Temporary.” The visual featured clips of Hailie growing up and offered sweet moments from her May wedding to Evan. At one point, fans watched as she surprised the rapper with her pregnancy news.
Hailie walked onto the deck of a house and handed Eminem a Detroit Lions football jersey that read “grandpa” on the back. The musician seemed genuinely surprised as he held her sonogram up to the camera.
Hailie and Evan were together for eight years before they tied the knot.
“Waking up a wife this week,” she wrote on Instagram at the time, sharing photos from the nuptials. “We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt. Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.”
