DWTS’ Ezra Sosa Channels Season 33 Partner Anna Delvey on Halloween
Dancing With the Stars pro Ezra Sosa paid homage to his first celebrity partner, Anna Delvey, on Halloween.
Sosa, 23, donned a golden fringe dress, a long brown wig, oversized sunglasses and a bedazzled ankle monitor to look like Delvey, 33, from the ballroom dance competition.
In a TikTok video posted on Thursday, October 31, Sosa used a now-viral sound from the pair’s elimination.
“What are you going to take away from this competition?” cohost Julianne Hough asked, to which Delvey memorably replied, “Nothing.”
In his clip, Sosa lowered his shades while lip-synching Delvey’s remarks.
“@AnnaDelvey how did I do?” he captioned the upload.

The uncanny resemblance impressed current DWTS competitor Chandler Kinney, who commented, “EZRAAAAA BYEEEEE.”
In a second TikTok video, Sosa lip-synched lines from Inventing Anna (the Netflix miniseries adapted from Delvey’s story), “What are you wearing? You look poor.” As the camera panned, Sosa was wearing his golden costume.
“Free Anna Delvey,” he captioned the upload.
Delvey and Sosa were one of the first pairs eliminated from season 33 alongside Tori Spelling and pro Pasha Pashkov.
“It just felt a bit upsetting to me,” Delvey said on Spelling’s eponymous podcast in September. “It felt like a waste of time for me to do all this for them to just discard me so easily. I know the show was very excited to have me on, but the large part of the audience is not the people who would usually be excited about me in general.”
She added, “I thought, like, ‘Well, they were building me up.’ It’s like, ‘Well, only if you smile more, only if you do X, Y, Z, it’s going to be so much better.’ It felt like they put so much effort into trying to get me on the show and make me feel comfortable, just to eliminate me this early. I see it, yeah, like an attempt of an embarrassment for us to get eliminated before Eric [Roberts] or Reginald [VelJohnson] in a dancing competition.”
Sosa could sense that Delvey felt embarrassed by her early exit. He further commemorated their journey by getting a “Nothing 33” tattoo after their elimination.
“She said, ‘Oh wow,’ with an exclamation point, which is probably, like, the most emotion she’s ever shown me, which is great,” Sosa exclusively told Us Weekly last month of Delvey’s reaction to the ink. “And then I said, ‘Do you like it?’ And she says, ‘It’s too late not to.’ And then I said, ‘You like it?’ And she goes, ‘I do.’ So I was like, OK. It’s proof.”
According to Sosa, it was “really hard to wrap [his] head around” getting booted first.
“A lot of, you know, being paired with her, I think there was a lot of negativity surrounding that whole situation and I was right next to her,” he told Us, referring to Delvey’s previous fraud conviction and jail sentence. “So it’s challenging, just processing all that. It’s been really hard, and I think getting a tattoo is the only way to cope with it.”
