Doutzen Kroes Loses Her Heel at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Doutzen Kroes didn’t sweat a minor wardrobe malfunction during the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Kroes, 39, handled her heel falling off like a total pro while strutting down the catwalk on Tuesday, October 15. After the back of her butterfly heel got caught on a crack in the stage, she took a step back and yanked on her shoe, all while looking flawless.

Kroes then stepped forward and kicked her foot out, accidentally forcing the shoe to fall off. When she realized this, she crouched on the runway and attempted to slip her stiletto back on, but kept missing. After a few tries, the model successfully got her heel back on and continued her strut. Kroes then threw her arms in the air as the crowd went wild.

Fans later praised Kroes’ quick recovery via social media. “No one’s talking about the squatted one leg balancing though, and in heels! 👠 👏🏾🔥,” one Instagram user wrote, as a second gushed, “We love Doutzen too much ❤️.” A third wrote, “She said minor …I got this … light work 😂😂… she did well 👏🏾.” More complemented Kroes for being simply the “best.”

Kroes’ glittery heels didn’t take away from the rest of her look, which featured a sheer mesh white midi skirt that exposed her cheeky underwear underneath. Her panties were just as dramatic, equipped with crystal embellishments and pink-and-white vertical stripes.

Kroes tied her look together with a triangle pink crystal bra and dainty chrome angel wings. She accessorized with chunky hoop earrings.

For glam, the Angel donned long wispy eyelashes, filled-in eyebrows, bronzed and rosy cheeks plus pink lips. In true Victoria’s Secret model fashion, Kroes’ hair was styled in a voluminous blowout.

This year’s show marks the first Victoria’s Secret runway since 2018, after canceling the 2019 show due to controversies surrounding the brand and inclusivity issues.
