Dak Prescott and Fiancee Sarah Jane Ramos Are Expecting Baby No. 2
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is adding another member to his squad.
Prescott, 31, and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, announced the couple is expecting their second baby girl together. The duo welcomed their first daughter, MJ, in March.
“Count your blessings,” Prescott shared via Instagram Story on Tuesday, December 10, showcasing a photo of Ramos, 31, cradling her baby bump at a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue photoshoot.
Prescott also shared a picture of himself, Ramos and MJ posing with the new baby’s Sonogram. “Family of 4 ❤️,” he captioned the cute image.
According to Sports Illustrated, the baby is due on May 22, 2025 and the couple has “always planned to have their children close in age.”
The pair — who got engaged in October 2024 — are keeping their baby’s first name a secret, but revealed her middle name will be Rayne, Dak’s birth name.
Ramos told Sports Illustrated she found out she was pregnant on September 15, the day of the Cowboys’ first home game of the season. Ramos was roughly 5-and-a-half weeks at the time and surprised Prescott with the news on game day.
“It’s really special to be a female in this world in this day and age and to watch your siblings grow up and be empowered, taking notes and using you as an example, but [also] being themselves and growing into what makes them their own person,” Ramos told Sports Illustrated. “It’s so beautiful to watch and I can’t wait to do the same with MJ and watch Dak become a girl dad, part two. He’s perfect. He’s the best girl dad ever.”
Ramos added, “Fundamentally, I want my girls to know that being a great person will get you very far in life above all else.”
Many of the couple’s famous friends expressed their excitement about Prescott and Ramos’ big news on social media.
Sydney Warner, the wife of San Francisco 49ers star Fred Warner, commented, “Oh my gosh congratulations!!”
“So happy 🥹💕💕💕💕,” singer Jessie James Decker wrote.
It’s been a year of personal highs and professional lows for Prescott, who suffered a season-ending hamstring injury in the Cowboys’ Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons on November 3.
Despite the on-field setback, Ramos said being a dad has given Prescott new purpose and perspective at home.
“Obviously parenting brings a new element to your relationship because it’s not about you two anymore, the priority is your child,” Ramos told Sports Illustrated. “But it makes you understand your partner on such a deeper, emotional level, and it’s definitely brought us even closer. It’s a blessing.”
