Cynthia Erivo’s Favorite Louis Vuitton Looks From ‘Wicked’ Press Tour

Happy Wicked week, to all who celebrate. In honor of the blockbuster release (mark your calendars for Friday, November 22!), we’ve rounded up some of Cynthia Erivo’s favorite Louis Vuitton looks on the red carpet–laden road to the big day.

When the actor — who plays green-skinned Elphaba — spoke to Louis Vuitton at the French fashion house’s New York City flagship store opening on Thursday, November 14, as seen in the above video, she revealed some of her most memorable Wicked press tour looks from the designer, starting with the green leather sheath she wore to the 2024 Academy Awards back in March.

“I like to call it that dragon leather piece,” she said, “which is part of the lead-up to all of this.”

Erivo, 37, also recalled the seafoam green confection that she chose for the Academy Museum Gala in October 2024, which just so happened to be hanging on display in the sprawling five-story boutique on Fifth Avenue. “It was like a sugar plum fairy [look], which I absolutely loved,” Erivo gushed. “All the embroidery, all the beading, the fit, the corsetry — it [was] beautiful.”

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s arrival at the 2024 Summer Olympics is wicked good. On Friday, July 26, the Wicked costars coordinated in different ’50s-esque evening gowns as they stepped out to help celebrate the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Games. Grande, 31, looked angelic while channeling her onscreen character Glinda the Good Witch in […]

She touched on another pitch-perfect green number: the body-skimming vinyl-and-silk column that she wore to the Los Angeles premiere of Wicked on November 9, which she topped with a luxurious shaggy green fur coat. “I’ve completely fallen in love with [the coat],” Erivo admitted.

Erivo would be remiss not to point out the Wicked-inspired black gown that she donned for the Australian leg of the press tour, which she pointed out was textured and shaped to resemble the Wicked Witch of the West’s pointy black hat.

“There’s a lot, and I think there’s more to come,” she said of her Louis Vuitton looks thus far.

Erivo also dressed the part at the designer’s November 14 store opening in a spellbinding pale green stunner with voluminous sleeves that all but stole the spotlight.
