Ciara Miller Defends Venita Aspen Amid Southern Charm Craig Drama

Ciara Miller is proving that Bravo girls have to stick together while defending Venita Aspen amid a rocky start to season 11 of Southern Charm — and her feud with Craig Conover.

“Imagine being the only Black girl on a predominantly white cast in the SOUTH,” Ciara, 29, wrote in the comments section on a recent TikTok video about Venita’s story arc on Southern Charm. “No one ever sees Venita’s side.”

Ciara, who stars on Summer House and is BFFs with Craig’s ex-girlfriend Paige DeSorbo, further claimed that Venita’s cast “only expects her to be submissive to their opinions and limelight.”

Ciara’s clapback came after TikToker @JoshtheRHONYstan posted a video on Monday, December 1, saying he was on Venita’s “side in all of the conflicts she’s had so far” on season 11 of Southern Charm.

Ventia Aspen is worried she’s going to look “wishy washy” about her feelings toward Craig Conover during the upcoming season of Southern Charm. “[There were] moments where I was OK, I’m not his biggest fan,” Venita exclusively told Us Weekly while attending BravoCon 2025 on Saturday, November 16. “There’s other moments when I was feeling […]

The user applauded Venita, 32, for “clocking the fact that Salley [Carson]‘s not being a girls’ girl and is not being a good friend” after Salley, 30, tried to push Venita to talk to Craig, 36, during the premiere amid their ongoing feud. (Salley has also been trying to hook up with Craig during the season despite claiming Venita is her closest friend.)

For those not familiar with Venita and Craig’s beef, the pair have been feuding since Venita publicly revealed she reached out to his ex Paige, 32, after their 2024 split. Craig claimed on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in March that he took Venita’s remarks as a sign she isn’t his real friend and vowed to stay away from her.

“I don’t remember Craig ever acting like he has had any interest in being friends with Venita the entire time she’s been on the show,” the TikToker pointed out on Monday. “I think the part of the Craig stuff that’s not being said out loud is that him going on Watch What Happens Live and saying that he will not be associated with Venita anymore was right around the time that casting was being figured out for this current season.”

The user hinted at the real reason Craig and Venita are not talking on season 11 — or currently off the air at this point — is because of what he said on WWHL, and Ciara agreed.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if Venita took Craig saying that as him trying to push her off the show or ice her out from the group and that’s the actual issue,” the TikToker alleged.

Ciara seemingly confirmed the user’s suspicions in the comments section, claiming, “If a main cast ‘refuses’ to film with another main cast member; that’s code for trying to push them out. So yes, your entire analysis of [this] situation is correct.”

Ciara then pointed out that because Venita is Black some fans overlook how much she is asked to put up with on the show.

Craig Conover may need to use some of his Southern Charm during this not-so-friendly cast get-together. In the season 10 reunion trailer obtained by Us Weekly on Tuesday, March 18, the newly single Bravo star is put in the hot seat by host Andy Cohen and his costars. “I am terrified of Craig,” Austen Kroll […]

“For some ‘odd’ reason, Black women/people are held to such an insanely high standard, we are rewarded less grace, and we must always be the bigger person in every situation, wronged or not,” Ciara alleged. “While our white counterparts can be as diabolical and disgusting and still remain fan favorites and don’t have to encounter 1/4 of the hate that we get simple for existing.”

The model continued, “Not to mention getting paid more, and getting to reap opportunities we have to quite literally jump up and down just to get noticed for.”

Ciara concluded by asking the Southern Charm audience to “talk s*** about someone else, but don’t ever let it be Venita.”

She backed Venita again by saying if fans want to come for her pal, they better “bring AMPLE reasons” as to why she’s to blame in any situation. “And also compare her to your favorite white cast mates. I’ll bet she’s an angel,” Ciara quipped.

Us Weekly has reached out to Bravo and Venita’s rep for comment.
