Chanel West Coast Reveals Dad’s ‘Inoperable Tumor’ Diagnosis
Chanel West Coast shared some tragic news about her father, Jamie Dudley.
“My Dad has an inoperable tumor that is so big it cannot be treated with chemo,” the West Coast Hustle star, 36, wrote in a statement shared via Instagram on Friday, November 8. “Right now we are looking for a miracle.”
West Coast (real name Chelsea Chanel Dudley) asked her followers if they could spare a moment to send positive thoughts for her dad.
“Please everyone reading this if you believe in the power of GOD I ask with all my heart to say a prayer for my Dad,” she continued. “Pray he makes it through this somehow someway. Thank you for the support.”
In the caption of her post, West Coast added that her family needs “all the prayers possible.”
“I believe in miracles and I know with enough people praying together he may have a chance 🥲🙏🏼♥️,” she said.
Fans and friends of West Coast took to the comments section to send their well wishes to the Ridiculousness alum. West Coast’s boyfriend, Dom Fenison, voiced his support by commenting three prayer hands emojis. (The couple are the proud parents of 2-year-old daughter Bowie, whom they welcomed in November 2022.)
The reality star’s stepmom, Linda Kuriloff, reshared West Coast’s post on her Instagram Story. Kuriloff and Dudley have been married since 2004.
After sharing the news about her dad, West Coast took to her Instagram Story to relay another message.
“In your hardest times is when you see who truly cares 🙏🏼♥️,” she penned.
West Coast has had a close bond with her father over the years despite living miles apart throughout her life.
“Happy Fathers Day to my pops aka Papa Eastcoast aka my twin lol!,” she penned in a 2015 Facebook post. “We’ve lived across the country from each other my whole life but always manage to stay close. Love you dad!”
Dudley is a DJ who is based in New York City. According to West Coast’s website, her dad inspired her to pursue music, as he brought her to many of his gigs when she was growing up.
In March 2020, she celebrated Dudley and Kuriloff’s 16th wedding anniversary with a touching tribute.
“I’m happy my dad found you Linda. You are an angel sent to him and I don’t know what our lives would be without you,” she wrote alongside a series of photos of the pair over the years. “My dad doesn’t have Instagram because he’s a dinosaur so this post is mainly for you lol. Love and miss you both so much!”
