Carson Daly’s Family Guide: Meet Wife Siri and 4 Kids

Carson Daly has had a busy career, but still manages to make time for his family life with his wife, Siri Pinter, and their four kids.

Pinter and Daly met on the set of Last Call with Carson Daly in 2005 where Pinter worked as a writer’s assistant. The couple quickly hit it off and started dating that same year.

“She would walk into our meetings and I would look at the other dudes in the room, like, ‘Do you see what I see?’ It was undeniable,’” he told People.

Daly and Pinter announced their engagement in 2013 and tied the knot two years later in December 2015.

“Our families were visiting. We surprised our moms,” Daly shared on the Today show in 2015.

The couple went on to welcome four kids together: son Jackson in 2009, daughter Etta in 2012, daughter London in 2014 and daughter Goldie in 2020.

Siri Pinter

After meeting on the set of his Last Call with Carson Daly show, Pinter, a food blogger and cookbook author, and Daly immediately hit it off and started dating in 2005 — with the twosome attempting to keep their relationship a secret for a while.

“Until [we] realized [we] were in love and it wasn’t just an office romance,” Daly told Elle in a 2012 interview.

Pinter and Daly got engaged in 2013 and tied the knot in 2015. They celebrated their eight year wedding anniversary in December 2023.

“8 years ❤️🎄12.23.15,” Pinter shared via Instagram alongside a photo of the couple at their wedding.

In April 2024, Daly revealed that he and his wife “secretly love” sleeping in different rooms several times a week.

“The object is to stay together,” Daly told People at the time. “That’s what we’d like to do. And so reverse engineering that, it’s like — by any means necessary, for the two of us, [we want to] still be in a relationship when we’re dying.”

As for Pinter’s professional life, she now works as a food contributor on the Today show.

Jackson Daly

Carson and Pinter’s first son, Jackson, was born in 2009. Jackson has appeared several times as a correspondent on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt: Kids Edition.

“He’s really an old soul, and mature beyond his years,” Carson told Today in June 2023. “He’s been in a lot of adult situations. I mean, he grew up backstage at The Voice. Jackson is good in any room.”

Carson noted that Jackson is a “natural interviewer” and a “really good egg.”

“He’s a sponge. He loves to come to work with me — he watches what everyone is doing,” he told the outlet at the time. “I keep telling him, ‘Just keep being you. You’re good.’ He doesn’t need much direction.”

Carson attended the 2024 MTV VMAs in September with Jackson.

“Full circle. @mtv #VMAs not sure why my heads cut off? Lol that’s my son Jackson btw – we’re having a blast,” Carson shared via Instagram at the time alongside a photo of the father-son duo on the red carpet.

Etta Daly

Carson and Pinter welcomed daughter Etta in September 2012.

In June 2023, Carson noted that Etta is the most “independent” out of all his children.

“Etta was the first kid of mine to go upstairs and put herself to bed,” he told Today at the time. “She loves fashion and puts her clothes out for the next day.”

Carson shared that Etta also loves “anything having to do with the performing arts,” but that she is the most “reserved” out of his four children.

London Daly

Carson and Pinter welcomed daughter London in August 2014.

In June 2023, Carson shared that London “marches to the beat of her own drum” and does “not feel peer pressure to wear the cool things.

“She has a Super Mario Bros. red hat and then she bedazzled it with cheap rhinestones that she bought on Amazon,” Carson told Today at the time. “London is truly one of a kind. … She’s volatile — but in a funny way. She’s like a comedian. She loves to entertain and make people laugh.”

Goldie Daly

Carson and Pinter welcomed their fourth child, Goldie, in March 2020.

Shortly after her birth, Carson revealed that they chose Goldie’s name because of its ancestral ties to his family.

“In this time that we’ve had quarantine [for COVID], a lot of time on our hands with our families, I just got the results of my Ancestry DNA kit that my sister got me for Christmas back not long ago,” he said on the Today show in March 2020. “And it confirmed my 98 percent Irishness.”

Carson noted that he began to browse Irish names but couldn’t find one that caught his attention. However, it reminded him of an Irish legend.

“I said, ‘What do you think about Goldie Patricia?’,” he shared, with the middle name standing in honor of Carson’s mother, Pattie, who passed away in 2017. “It was just one of those things. We knew.”

In 2023, Carson revealed that Goldie is still “coming into her personality” but she is “very verbal” because of her siblings.

“She hears her brother and sisters talking and picks up a lot,” he told Today. “So when you talk to Goldie, you can ask her, ‘How was your day today?’ And she’ll give you a real response.”
