Brianna Chickenfry Claims Zach Bryan Took Her Cat ‘Out of Spite’
Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia claimed ex Zach Bryan took the cat they shared “out of spite” amid their messy breakup.
“I don’t think I’m ever gonna have sex again,” LaPaglia, 25, mused in a TikTok video posted on Sunday, November 10, detailing her search for an apartment in New York City after moving out of Bryan’s Massachusetts home.
“Me and my cousin, we’re talking about this … we’re just gonna accept that it’s gonna be a sexless apartment in New York, and we’re gonna be just there with the two cats and a dog, and she wants to get another cat,” she continued.
LaPaglia then claimed that Bryan, 28, took their cat, Stump, after breaking up with her in October.
“I miss Stump so much. I wanna f—ing kidnap him. But when [Bryan] left and didn’t tell me anything, he took Stump out of spite. He didn’t even like cats,” the “BFFs” podcast cohost said. “[Bryan’s dog] Jack hates cats. [LaPaglia’s dog] Boston loves cats. I love cats. Can someone steal the cat back for me?”

“The animals, throughout this, have been one of the hardest parts,” LaPaglia said of her breakup. “Like, I just think about Boston and Jack and Stump. I think about Stump every night.”
Us Weekly has contacted Bryan’s representatives for comment.
In a March TikTok video, LaPaglia shared that she and Bryan adopted Stump, previously a feral cat, after they found him in a tree stump in Oklahoma. The podcaster has two other cats, Mango and Ollie, and a dog, Boston, whom she also adopted with Bryan. (Bryan has a chocolate labrador, Jack.)
LaPaglia has been opening up about her split from Bryan after she said she was “blindsided” last month when the “28” singer publicly announced their breakup.
“Brianna and me have broken up with each other and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that, I’ll always thank her,” Bryan wrote in an Instagram Story statement in October. “I’ve had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be.”
On the Thursday, November 7, episode of “BFFs” — the podcast she cohosts with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards — LaPaglia accused Bryan of being emotionally abusive during their relationship. She also claimed that Bryan offered her $12 million in exchange for signing a nondisclosure agreement.
“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life, dealing with the abuse from this dude,” she said. “I’m still scared of him, my brain’s rewired. I’m scared to make him mad. Last week I didn’t want to talk about it because I was scared.”
“I still said f— your money,” she added, referring to the alleged NDA. “You made the women before me believe they had no other choice. And to take money from you, sign their experiences away, sign what they went through away, You get to go skip off and sing your little f—ing songs on stage like you’re a good dude.” (Bryan’s representatives didn’t immediately respond to Us Weekly’s request for comment on LaPaglia’s claims last week.)
