Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Spotted Dancing at Taylor Swift Show

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds love to watch Taylor Swift be bejeweled on The Eras Tour, and the Friday, October 25, stop in New Orleans was no exception.

Lively, 37, and Reynolds, 48, were spotted in the VIP tent at the Caesars Superdome on Friday, per social media footage. The couple were photographed dancing together and cuddling as Swift, 34, performed her biggest hits.

Friday was Swift’s first of three concerts in New Orleans, and the second stop on the final leg of The Eras Tour. To commemorate the occasion, the Superdome even wrapped the stadium in a giant friendship bracelet. (Swifties trade beaded baubles at every show based on the lyrics to “You’re On Your Own, Kid.)

“You’ve created traditions. You’ve created this mass movement of joy every time we play a show. And it makes me so proud, it really does,” Swift gushed during the set. “I just showed up one day and you guys were trading friendship bracelets and I was like, ‘That’s cool’ — and now there is a giant friendship bracelet on the outside of this stadium.”

Spotted: Taylor Swift’s friendships with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds growing stronger by the year. Lively first publicly revealed she is a fan of Swift in September 2015 after Lively was accused of throwing shade at the singer-songwriter. “…Sooo, turns out this WASN’T a video shoot for John Legend‘s cover of Bad Blood,” the actress […]

She added, “Which is so nice of them to do for us — but it’s even nicer of you guys to create things that went so far beyond what I ever expected for this tour.”

Swift also performed an array of original mashups during her acoustic section, a guitar combination of “Our Song” and “Call It What You Want” and a piano medley of “The Black Dog” and “Haunted.”

Swift has been friends with Lively since 2015, even serving as the godmother of the Gossip Girl alum’s four children with Reynolds. Lively and Reynolds, who have been married since 2012, have attended multiple stops along the Eras Tour and often brought their eldest three daughters. (They share daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and son Olin, who was born in early 2023.)

The family last caught Swift’s Madrid show in May.

“I’m about to go to the Madrid show,” Reynolds hinted on the Today show weeks earlier. “My wife and kids have been to five of them, five or six now. They love it, they’re obsessed. This will be my first because this last year and a half I’ve been trapped in a nonstop work bubble, and it’s a problem.”

During the show, Lively even adorably pointed to James, Inez and Betty when Swift dropped their names while singing her 2020 song “Betty.”

The best auntie! Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds brought their eldest children to see Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show on Friday, May 12, where they got the sweetest surprise from the songstress. “There are a few of the characters [in ‘Betty’] that I actually, fun fact, named after real people in my life who I love more […]

“I named all the characters in this story after my friend’s kids,” Swift said in an August 2020 X video about the inspiration for “Betty.”

“Betty” appears on Swift’s pandemic-crafted album Folklore, where she wrote songs based on other characters instead of a purely autobiographical LP.
