Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez Seen With Jennifer Garner to Support Kids

Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner put on a united front to support their children.

The three stars were spotted at kids Seraphina and Emme’s youth play on Friday, December 13, according to photos obtained by TMZ. Lopez’s son Max, 16, was also on hand to present his twin sibling, Emme, with a bouquet of roses.

Lopez, 55, shares Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony. She later married 52-year-old Affleck in 2022, two decades after calling off their original engagement. Lopez filed for divorce in August. (Affleck, for his part, shares three children with Garner, also 52: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.)

“I think my whole life I’ve just been trying to say I’m good enough, until where I am now, when I know. I’m giving myself credit. I’m telling that little girl [who] grew up in the Bronx, ‘You’ve done really good for yourself.’ I didn’t do that for so many years,” Lopez told Interview magazine in October. “And now I think, with everything that’s happened in my life and in my relationships and even in my career, it’s like, give yourself a bit of comfort and love.”

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner split nearly a decade ago, but Garner remains one of Affleck’s biggest supporters — especially during his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. “Ben and Jennifer are friends, and they have a great coparenting relationship,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly, referring to Affleck and Garner’s children, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and […]

She added, “We’ve been through a lot of things that nobody knows about, and you’ve persevered and you refuse to give up and to let it get you down. There’s something to be said for that because things can really change your life in a way that you do want to give up and say, ‘F— this, this is too hard, I don’t want to do this anymore.’ But I’m not there. I refuse to not give myself everything that little girl deserves.”

Affleck has not publicly addressed his ongoing divorce from Lopez but has praised her “spectacular” role in Unstoppable. (Affleck and friend Matt Damon coproduced the upcoming boxing biopic.)

Unstoppable is a very different movie than [Small Things Like These,] but in a way it’s similarly rooted in the passion of really talented artists,” Affleck told Entertainment Tonight last month. “[Director] Billy Goldenberg and Jennifer and Don Cheadle and Jharrel [Jerome] and Bobby Cannavale, all were really passionate about this film.”

He added, “Jennifer is spectacular. [Unstoppable is] another one that we’re really, really proud of. We believed in the right people [in Small Things Like These] and Unstoppable is another example of that.”

A beautifully blended brood! After Ben Affleck married Jennifer Lopez, she found a newfound friendship with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. “Over the past year or two, they’ve definitely become close and have gotten to know each other much better,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly of Lopez, 53, and Garner, 50. “Both of them are incredible mothers […]

During Affleck and Lopez’s marriage and amid their divorce, they’ve remained amicable coparents with Garner. A source exclusively told Us Weekly in July that Garner and Lopez, in particular, have “been really friendly.”

“She’s been helpful to J.Lo, and they’ve been relating to each other,” the insider added. “Jennifer has been a surprising person for J.Lo to talk to.”
