Kefte Tagine With Jalapeño Yogurt Sauce
This tagine is a classic Moroccan dish of kefte, or minced meat, simmered in a gently spiced tomato sauce until tender and full of flavor.

The simple tagine is a very nostalgic dish for many Moroccans. To start, onions and garlic are cooked with spices and herbs, then tomatoes are added and simmered until they turn into a rich and fragrant sauce. The meatballs cook right in the sauce, soaking up all the flavor while staying juicy. And although it’s not traditional, I like to finish it with a quick jalapeno yogurt sauce and serve it with lots of bread for scooping.
