Hot Honey Chicken

Breaded with a seasoned cornflake mixture then baked, these chicken cutlets are spicy and sweet thanks to a drizzle of homemade hot honey.

Hot honey chicken. You can use your favorite store-bought hot honey, but it’s so easy to make at home and only requires a few pantry ingredients. You’re going to heat up some honey, cayenne pepper, and chile flakes, and let it infuse for about 15 minutes before you strain it. Beat chicken breast with a meat tenderizer until about a half inch thick. Season them all over with salt and pepper, then dredge it through flour, some eggs that are mixed with hot sauce. Use your favorite hot sauce here. The secret to the chicken is in the coating. We’re using corn flakes in this and a combination of Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic salt and onion powder. I really love to have it on a sandwich with some homemade ranch dressing and a little bit of green cabbage that’s been tossed with some vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper.
