Amanda Batula Addresses Reports She’s Not Living With Kyle Cooke

Amanda Batula is poking fun at the reports that she and husband Kyle Cooke are living separately.

“Hey guys, it’s taken me a while to talk about this, but I just wanted to confirm the rumors that Kyle and I are living separately. This is my new house,” the Summer House star, 34, said in an Instagram video on Sunday, December 7.

In the clip, Batula is in a small dark area that she later revealed was a children’s playhouse.

“I just wanted to show you guys,” she continued as she crawled out of the toy. “This is my new house. It’s small, it’s kind of all that I can afford.”

Batula even joked about the tiny wreath on the front door.

“I decorated for the holidays, I’m really excited,” she quipped. “I could really use your support at this time and some privacy while we figure this out. Thanks so much.”

Batula and Cooke, 43, met in summer 2015 one year before Summer House began filming. They became an official couple during the season 1 finale, which aired in 2017. The following year, the pair got engaged. They tied the knot in front of Bravo cameras in September 2021.

Last month, rumors swirled that Batula and Cooke were living separately. However, a source told Us Weekly in November that it was not the case.

“They are going through a challenging time,” the insider explained, adding that despite any struggles, the couple are “both committed to making the relationship work.”

That same month, Batula and Cooke showed a united front at BravoCon 2025. The duo sat next to each other as they participated in the “Summer House Always Wins” panel.

The same day that Batula took to social media to make fun of the reports, a teaser for Summer House season 10 dropped. In the first look, Cooke and Batula can be seen talking out their marital issues, with Batula raising concerns about Cooke becoming a DJ.

“I wanted him to stop going out and partying, and he found a career where he goes out late and parties,” she said.

In one scene, Batula even claimed that Cooke didn’t come home because he fell asleep at a fan’s house. In another tense moment in the trailer, Cooke went off and said: “You know what I actually think we have an issue with? Compatibility, chemistry, intimacy. “What about that s***?”

Fans have seen the pair at odds over Cooke’s career as a DJ and where to permanently settle down for a while now.

“We’re just trying to find our way and navigating all that with the show and an insanely stressful business that I’m running. It’s a lot,” Cooke told Us in February 2024. “I feel like dogs inadvertently kind of slowed down our baby making. … So we’re just taking it one day at a time.”

Batula, for her part, hinted that she and Cooke were not seeing eye to eye on the subject matter.

“He’s gonna have to be on my page. If he could grow the baby, it could be on his timeline. But it’s happening in this body,” she told Us in May. “There was a lot of stuff on this [last] season that was him wanting to be a father, and, like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but he’s having this conversation with other people, and not the person that’s supposed to carry his child. So if he was actively [saying], ‘Hey, I want to have kids. Like, we should start trying to have kids,’ that would be different. That’s not a conversation that we’re having.”
