Kate Middleton and Prince William Stun at a State Banquet in Windsor

Princess Kate Middleton and Prince William looked their best at a state banquet at Windsor Castle.

The Princess of Wales, 43, stepped out in a glittering dress and a larger-than-life tiara at a state banquet in honor of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier‘s visit to the United Kingdom on Wednesday, December 3. For the event, she looked ethereal in a blue Jenny Packham dress featuring an asymmetrical neckline, all-over sequins, a pleated skirt and a glamorous cape that fell into a delicate train.

Kate added even more sparkle to her ensemble with Queen Victoria’s Oriental Circlet Tiara, which was designed by Prince Albert in 1853. The piece originally featured 2,600 diamonds and opals, which were later replaced with rubies. She also wore diamond earrings that once belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II and a blue sash and star.

William, 43, for his part, looked sharp in a black blazer with a red collar and cuffs, a white dress shirt and dark pants.
