Isla Fisher Shares Holiday Plans With Kids After Sacha Baron Cohen Split

Isla Fisher and her kids’ holiday plans are looking a little different this year following her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.

“I’ve got my whole family coming from Greece,” Fisher, 49, said in an interview with E! News published on Tuesday, November 25.

Fisher added that she and her three children, whom she and Baron Cohen have kept out of the spotlight, are not only going to spend time with the actress’ family from Greece, but also relatives from across the pond.

“I’ve got my family coming from London,” she added.

In April 2024, Fisher and Baron Cohen, who tied the knot in 2010, announced that they had quietly separated the year prior after 13 years of marriage.

“After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down,” the exes wrote in a joint social media statement. “In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”

Earlier this year, Fisher and Baron Cohen finalized their divorce.

“Our divorce has now been finalised. We are proud of all we’ve achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to coparenting our wonderful children,” the pair wrote in a June statement. “We ask for the media to continue to respect our children’s privacy.”

The following month, Fisher opened up about how she had a challenging past few years.

“I’ve had a tough couple of years, but I’m making it through,” the Now You See Me actress said in a July interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “I’m really excited for the next chapter.”

Fisher’s next chapter includes multiple projects, like her new movie Now You See Me: Now You Don’t and the upcoming comedy ​​Spa Weekend.

“Previously I was very much focused on my kids, which I still am, obviously, because [they’re] my true love,” Fisher told the outlet. “But I’m enjoying tackling work again.”

In addition to her career, Fisher has been adjusting to life in her new London home as a single mom of three.

“When it all arrived, I did have a bit of a cry because this was my first time as a single woman, being in a home of my own,” Fisher said of feeling emotional while relocating in a November interview with Elle Decoration UK.

On top of navigating her split from Baron Cohen, Fisher also mourned the death of her father.

“Trying to create a new life from a grassroots level, at least emotionally, has been challenging, but deeply rewarding,” she explained, adding that she is “enjoying this new version” of her life in London. “I don’t need to party in my house anymore. I love to get in the bath. I’ll light some candles, bring in my laptop and put on something on Netflix. That’s as exciting as it gets.”
