Nina Dobrev made a major fashion statement while posing for photos in what fans are already dubbing her “revenge dress.”

The Vampire Diaries actress, 36, wore a jaw-dropping black Cult Gaia design featuring a dramatic plunging neckline edged with bold metallic trim in a series of portraits shared via her Instagram on Thursday, October 2, on the heels of her split from Shaun White.

Striking gold detailing framed her décolletage like wearable art, while the figure-hugging cut of the number fit her like a glove. Dobrev paired the dress with oversized gold earrings, a matching gold clutch and a sleek updo that showed off her picture-perfect glam and dewy skin with a few curled strands framing her face. Her makeup consisted of a soft smokey eye and a nude lip.

Just one day ago, Dobrev set the record straight on rumors that she moved on romantically with Zac Efron following her split from White, 39, in September after five years together.

“Anything to that Zac Efron thing?” a TMZ reporter asked the star, who shook her head no. “You’re just mates?” the reporter inquired, to which she responded clearly and concisely, “Yeah.”
