Sydney Sweeney Transforms in The Housemaid Using She’s All That Method

Sydney Sweeney debuted a new look while taking on her psychological thriller role in The Housemaid — and it seems the glam team used the She’s All That glasses method.

The actress, 27, transformed into her seemingly mild-mannered maid character, Millie Calloway, with a few subtle touches in a newly released trailer for the film which dropped on Tuesday, September 16, showing the complex dynamic between Millie and lead costar Amanda Seyfried, who plays her wealthy employer, Nina Winchester.

The clip starts off with Millie arriving at Nina’s house in a makeup-free look. She teamed her fresh face with eye glasses and wavy hair.

Throughout the trailer, Sweeney starts to give herself a makeover by first taking off her glasses — reminding Us of when Zach Siler (Freddie Prinze Jr.) takes off Laney Boggs’ (Rachael Leigh Cook) eyewear to transform her into a prom queen in She’s All That. The scene went viral for everyone then realizing that Laney was beautiful all along.
