Paige and Craig Quotes From Summer House, Southern Charm Aftershows

Members of the respective Summer House and Southern Charm casts chose violence this week while discussing Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover’s relationship and subsequent breakup.

Paige, 32, and Craig, 36, split late last year after three years together, with her initiating the breakup.

“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together,” she said during a December 2024 episode of the “Giggly Squad” podcast. “I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing.”

In the months that have followed, especially as the current seasons of Summer House and Southern Charm air, more details about the breakup — and the aftermath — continue emerging. Several Bravo stars have spoken out, but this week’s Summer House and Southern Charm aftershows brought some savage commentary.

“I feel like when I know I met my husband, I’ll want to call him before I call my dad,” Paige said during the Summer House aftershow. “And I haven’t met anyone like that yet.”

Summer House’s Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula had mixed reactions when they first learned Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover were officially over. “I’d say I was surprised, not shocked,” Amanda, 33, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting a new season of Summer House. “I didn’t react the way the rest of the internet did. But […]

The Idea Craig Had of Paige, Who Was She?

Producers asked Paige if she thinks Craig had “a different” version of her in his head.

“Who knows, I’d love to meet her?” she quipped during the aftershow. “Sometimes he’d be like, ‘You talk really dirty on your podcast.’ … Whatever. I don’t think he really, you know.”

Career vs. Relationship

Paige got honest during the Summer House aftershow, claiming that she would “stay more quiet” while Craig was “voicing his opinions” about their relationship.

“Him voicing his opinion that he wanted to be prioritized above my career,” she said. “He knows that even if I marry you, my kids are going to come before you anyway, so you’ll always be third.”

She also admitted to not telling Craig career highs. “When I would get certain milestones, no I wouldn’t tell him because I knew he would want to be happy for me but I knew deep down he would not be,” she confessed.

Paige’s Tolerance Level

“I loved him so much that I tolerated too much,” Paige said. “Now that I’m out of it and I look back on things, I’m like, ‘Oh wait.’ Anytime I had a career milestone, he found a way to make it about him.’”

She added: “Anytime it was something for me, my friend’s wedding or a family wedding, he would find a way to make it about him and make me have a bad time. It was just embarrassing. That’s something I look back on now and I’m like, ‘Oh wow, I was really blinded.’”

Dragging Abba Into the Conversation

Paige has been honest about experiencing panic attacks, and she shared Craig’s reaction.

“After I had my panic attack, he watched a documentary about the band Abba … and he told me to watch this documentary because it was about how tour ruined their marriages and their lives,” she claimed. “I was like, ‘I just got a beta blocker prescription but thank you so much for the nightly TV watch.’”

Kyle Shouldn’t Have Any Regrets

Kyle Cooke and Craig had some major beef that reverberated throughout the Summer House cast. This week’s episode showed the two Bravo men talking out their drama — about alcohol brands, mind you — face-to-face after Kyle called out Craig on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

During the Summer House aftershow, Kyle’s wife, Amanda Batula, asked if he “should” have any regrets about the drama with Craig. Paige was quick to chime in and add, “No,” which is some tea if you ask Us.

“You heard it straight from her mouth,” Amanda added.

Shep Rose Enters the Chat

During the Southern Charm aftershow, Shep bluntly stated that it was “total f—ing bulls—” that Paige never went on the cast’s trips.

“I couldn’t get away with that if I had a girlfriend, I’ll tell you that much,” he claimed, calling it “incomprehensible” that she wasn’t around.

Keeping to Themselves

“Every time she’d come down here, except for a few occasions, she never made an attempt to get to know Charleston, to get to know members of the group,” Patricia Altschul claimed during the after show. “They were isolated.”

Craig’s ‘3-Year Itch’

Madison LeCroy told Craig that he’s “good at everything” during the Southern Charm aftershow and he had quite the response.

“Except keeping a girlfriend. … That’s my limit, I guess. Three years. The three-year itch, they just disappear,” he claimed. “God, I did so well on her birthday too, guess what I got her? A bag from The Row.”
