Hilaria Baldwin Scolds Husband for Interrupting During Interview

Hilaria Baldwin got testy with husband Alec Baldwin during a recent public appearance.
The couple was asked about a possible second season of their The Baldwins reality show during an interview with Extra on March 11. While Hilaria, 41, was looking for the right words, Alec, 66, stepped in — but his wife wasn’t too happy about it.
“The Hilaria Show,” Alec joked. Hilaria responded, “No. I think we’re gonna see, you know. We’re gonna see how it feels to have it be out there.”
Alec started speaking at the same time, adding, “It’s gonna be great, you’re a winner.”
Hilaria appeared unhappy with her husband cutting her off mid-sentence.
“Oh, my God. When I’m talking, you’re not talking,” she said. “No, when I’m talking, you’re not talking.”

Alec responded, “Sorry,” before Hilaria continued.
“This is why, yes, we’ll just have to like just cut him out of the show,” she said, laughing. “This is a really raw show and it’s very real and we took a lot of chances, and I think we’ll see where it leads us.”
Alec then walked out of frame as his wife continued the interview. After speaking to the reporter solo for a few minutes, Hilaria eventually brought Alec back into the conversation.
The couple, who wed in June 2012, are the parents to seven kids: Carmen, 10, Rafael, 8, Leonardo, 7, Romeo, 5, Eduardo “Edu,” María, 3, and Ilaria, 19 months. Fans have gotten an inside look at their family dynamic through the TLC reality show, which premiered last month. (Alec is also father to daughter Ireland, 28, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger.)
“I think we didn’t think it through very much, which I look back now and I’m thinking ‘What were we thinking?’ But at the same time, I’m so glad that we didn’t because it is so raw and it is so true and it was a very vulnerable time,” Hilaria told Us Weekly exclusively while attending the Planet Hollywood in Times Square opening earlier this month. “It’s interesting to look back and even though it’s not that long ago, it really was a diary of how we were coping and moving forward.”
She added, “I’m very grateful that we did it and we were so lucky with the people that we did it with and I don’t say that lightly.”
The Baldwins airs on TLC Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.
