Ashley St. Clair Shares Alleged Elon Musk Messages After Son’s Birth

Author Ashley St. Clair said Elon Musk messaged her saying they have a “legion of kids to make” after their alleged son’s birth.

St. Clair — who is suing Musk for sole custody of their alleged child — shared social media messages which she claims were sent by Musk, 53, in a paternity petition filed on Friday, February 21.

Photos of a series of DM exchanges, published by People, showed St. Clair allegedly messaging Musk at the beginning of February 2025 to ask him to speak “in person” and mentioned “a major rift in our relationship that I truly wish was better for the sake of our son.”

Musk allegedly responded with the message, “Hmmm ok,” after which Clair sent a moving image of Jim Carrey reciting the “Alrighty Then” catchphrase from 1992’s Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

“Well, we do have a legion of kids to make,” Musk allegedly wrote back.

In another set of alleged messages between Musk and St. Clair, exchanged in November 2024, Musk called St. Clair “cutie” and wrote: “I want to knock you up again.”

St. Clair filed a petition with the New York Supreme Court for custody of her child on Friday, February 21, multiple outlets reported.

In the court filing, St. Clair said she and Musk began a “romantic relationship in or about May 2023” and alleged that she gave birth to their child in September 2024.

“[Musk] has met him only three (3) times and has no involvement in his care and upbringing,” the petition reportedly states.

According to People’s report on the separate custody petition, St. Clair said the “last time” Musk visited their son was on November 30, around four days after he sent the “knock you up again” message. She said the visit lasted 30 minutes and came more than two months after Musk’s other two visits on September 21 and September 22.

“Ashley St. Clair has filed paternity and custody petitions to protect the best interests of her child,” St. Clair’s representative Brian Glickich told People.

“She has made every effort to collaborate with Mr. Musk before taking this step. She has no further comment on the contents of the petitions, which speak for themselves,” the statement added.

Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, revealed in a TikTok video that she found out about her alleged new half-sibling on social media.

“Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I found out I had half-siblings through Reddit, I’d have two nickels … which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice, right,” Wilson, 20, said in the video, published on February 15.

Musk has not publicly responded or commented on St. Clair’s claims. A representative for Musk did not respond to Us Weekly’s request for comment on the initial lawsuit.
